Generally, it is common knowledge that humans have the same time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 31 days a month, 365 days per year, but most of them do not know how to manage time and manage it to be something useful and effectively. That is because many people do not have the discipline in filling time. Those days are filled with things that are not directed, even worse is that filling the time (...) of his or her life with things that damage life. Even though wasting time is not unwise because it is a waste of the opportunity God has given and the time that has passed will not return, meaning that if the opportunity is not used, then the opportunity will be lost. How important is to redeem the time, especially for contemporary Christian leaders because all must be accountable to God. This study uses a research library. Library research is a literature study that is carried out by using relevant and available reading sources related to the topics discussed in the research. Books or journal articles related to the topics discussed are used as sources of reading to better understand time management and its application at the personal and organisational levels. This study aimed to identify the role of strategic leadership in activating time management strategies to enhance administrative creativity skills at Al-Azhar University. The sample of the study was random stratified sample from (245) administrative employees using questionnaire as a main tool for primary data collection. Total respondent were (112) questioners. Descriptive and quantitative approach used in this study. The general results of the study showed high levels of strategic leadership at Al-Azhar University, average level of application of (...) time management strategies and administrative creativity. This means there is acceptance approval that there is a statistically significant relationship between strategic leadership and time management strategies in Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip with a correlation level (0.724). Also, there is a statistically significant relationship between time management strategies and administrative creativity in Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip under study with a correlation level (0.848). According to static analysis, there is a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of strategic leadership and administrative creativity in Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip under study, with a level of correlation (0.767%). This leases to high investment process for all available factors and elements in order to maximize and increase production and eliminate waste, wasted and unexploited employees' time and capabilities, which leads to achieving more effectiveness, positivity, productivity and increased organized effort. The study recommended necessity of having the elements of strategic academic leadership and activating time management strategies towards enhancing administrative creativity among workers in Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip. Also study recommended to encourage, support, and reward personal initiatives and creative ideas. Also study recommended available of wise and conscious strategic leadership to rationalize the behavior of individuals, mobilize their energies, mobilize their capabilities, coordinate their efforts, organize their affairs and direct them in the right direction towards achieving the desired goals and objectives. Management decision-making is a daily task that managers of various levels solve in every organization. Degree of difficulty of this process depends on the scope of authority, responsibility level, manager’s position in organizational hierarchy; on the changes in the environment, unpredictability of which causes emergence of significant amounts of alternatives. For this reason, managers do not rely only on intuition or personal experience (which limited with selective perception, cognitive ability, ability to withstand stress and/or the presence of bias), but (...) use tools (methods) that have stood the test of time and practice; are based at the analysis of a significant amount of primary and secondary information; involve team-building to find the optimal option or to generate ideas. A significant amount of research papers are devoted to such methods, however, the author forms a synergetic approach which contains a detailed analysis of their correlation with the key factors of the competitiveness of enterprise, such as organizational culture and leadership. Existing decision-making practices, problems and style of management at the tourism enterprises are revealed from conducted survey (the first half of 2014) in tourism firms of Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine, in which 729 tourism managers took part. The most popular decision-making practices in tourism branch were specified, among them are modeling and monitoring of previous results. The study proved the hypothesis of the author concerning strong connection of decision-making management and type of organizational culture. Moreover, 63% of managers were dissatisfied with low attention to organizational culture at their companies. The basis for future research and the synergetic matrix for decision-making management were worked out in the article which give preconditions for further studies and improvements in tourism management of Ukrainian enterprises. This study assessed students’ personnel management and academic effectiveness in terms of punctuality to classes, time management, study habits, record keeping, attitudes during classes, note taking, attitudes towards assignment, examination results and attitudes towards co-curricular activities in Calabar Education Zone of Cross River State. Three null hypotheses were formulated accordingly to guide the study following a descriptive survey research design. Proportionate sampling technique was employed in selecting a sample of 1,934 students (representing 20%) from a population of (...) 9,672 students. Students’ Personnel Management and Academic Effectiveness Questionnaire (SPMAEQ) was used as an instrument for data collection. The instrument yielded reliability estimates of .86 and .93 for the independent and dependent variables using Split-half technique. The null hypotheses were all tested at .05 level of significance using Pearson Correlation Matrix with the aid of SPSS v25. Findings from the study revealed among others that; students' counseling, healthcare, and discipline management respectively, are significantly related to students' academic effectiveness in terms of punctuality to classes, time management, study habits, record keeping, attitudes during classes, note taking, attitudes towards assignment, examination results and attitudes towards co-curricular activities. It was concluded generally from the findings of this study that, there is a moderate positive relationship which is statistically significant between students’ personnel management and their academic effectiveness. It was recommended amongst others that; there should be adequate employment and supply of professional guidance counselors to all secondary schools to boost the psychological levels of students and make them emotionally prepared for academic and co-curricular activities in the school. Intergovernmental relation is an interaction among different levels of government. Intergovernmental relation is often times conflict-ridden, and the extent of the conflict depends on how they are managed by the actor operating at the government levels. This study examines conflict management in intergovernmental relation in Nigeria. The content analysis method would be used. This will be carried out by analyzing data obtained from extant literature on the subject matter. This paper found that intergovernmental conflicts mainly borders on tax jurisdiction (...) and revenue allocation. Other areas of conflict were found to include domination by the centre of other units, as well as, parallel and vertical misunderstanding among units on administrative, legal, social and economic matters. It was suggested that levels of government should introduce such method as discussion, integration, good management of communication in other to attain a peaceful intergovernmental relations regime. Most business in the Philippines is mostly in the microenterprise. Hence, this research was accomplished in order to assess the effectiveness of financial management practices of microenterprises in Quezon City. The city was selected as the locale of the research since there were various microenterprises built in this location. The respondents were classified according to the number of years in operation of their business, the number of employees, capitalization, and their source of funds. Additionally, the individual profile was also (...) classified into their age, highest educational attainment, and the number of seminars or trainings related to their business that they had attended. The assessment was specified into aspects of financial planning, financial control, and cash management. The result shows that most businesses were newly established and only operating for zero (0) to two (2) years. The result also showed that most of the respondents only had a capitalization of PHP 100,000.00 and they were utilizing their personal savings as a source of funds. Most of them are aged from twenty-one (21) to thirty (30) years with no bachelor’s degrees. They only attended seminars and training less than three (3) times. The result of this study was beneficial to business owners, local government units, government, government agencies, banks, and other financial institutions, academe, and future researchers. The purpose of this study is to identify the requirements of computerized Management Information Systems and their role in improving the quality of administrative decisions in the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The authors used the descriptive analytical method and the questionnaire method to collect the data. (247) questionnaires were distributed on the study sample and (175) questionnaires were collected back with a recovery rate of (70.8). The study showed a number of results, the most important of (...) which are: There exist a role for computerized management information system requirements in improving the quality of administrative decisions in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. This result is due to the existence of the support and attention by the senior management in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education by 65.06%, the physical requirements available for the use of computerized Management Information Systems are available by (72.19%), and the software requirements for the use of computerized Management Information Systems are available at 67.74%. The results found that the human requirements available for the use of computerized Management Information Systems are available at (68.33%). The results showed that the organizational requirements that assist in the use of information systems are available at (64.19%). There are no statistically significant differences between respondents' responses to the role of computerized management information system requirements in improving the quality of administrative decisions in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education attributable to the variables(Gender, academic qualification, age, career level), while there are statistically significant differences in the role of computerized management information system requirements in improving the quality of administrative decisions in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education due to variable years of service. The study concluded that the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is able to cope with the external environmental changes rapidly and the limited time available for the collection and analysis of information. This means that administrative information systems should be used by increasing the approval of senior management on Management Information Systems in making their decisions, and to involve the employees in making any change and keep abreast of technical developments and try to use external bodies to advise in the field of computerized information systems, and work to increase coordination between the different departments of the ministry. The research is based on the system approach. -/- Findings: On the example of the Eurofighter program: (1) a list of applied problems of management of modern international defense projects was identified and formalized; (2) an analysis of the impact of management problems on the implementation of international defense projects was carried out; (3) ways of solving management problems and increasing the efficiency of the management system of international defense programs were proposed. -/- Theoretical Implications: The theoretical value of the study lies in the fact that the analysis of the typology of relevant management problems complements the understanding of management problems faced by modern companies and government agencies in the implementation of international defense programs. This essay reviews the recently released Handbook of Philosophy of Management, using it as a jumping off point to explore some potential confusions in contemporary philosophy of management. The handbook itself, comprising 58 articles and some 1,000 pages, is a milestone for the field. At the same time, it brings a few problems into sharp relief. I argue for more clarity about the distinction between the philosophy of management and the philosophy of management research. I (...) make the case that logic as a de facto method for conducting inquiry may or may not be useful, while logic as a de jure standard for evaluating its conclusions is indispensable. I develop the view that neither management nor management studies is properly considered a science, or even an applied science. I contend that the seminal contributions of Alasdair MacIntyre are unjustly neglected by the field. And I advance the thesis that perhaps the leading issue for the philosophy of management today is the question of the purpose of management, pointing in some suggested directions for answering the question. The rating positions of most Ukrainian higher educational establishments in the global international environment have not received any positive changes over a long period of time. Progressive regulatory changes are necessary to stimulate internal university reforms within the context of European integration. The purpose of the present work is to develop organizational-methodological measures in order to increase the efficiency of scientific-pedagogical activity in higher educational establishments of Ukraine. The following methods were used for the research: Monographic, historical, comparative, generalization, (...) formal-logical, analysis and synthesis, categorical approach, observation, interviewing, graphic, benchmarking and forecasting. The concept and methodology of managing efficiency in the post-Soviet transformation of higher education has been grounded. The mechanism of utilizing re-engineering and motivational management in the process of implementing European integration objectives for university education in Ukraine has been suggested. The system of normative indices has been formed to stimulate the effectiveness of the scientific-pedagogical activities of universities, with the complex focus on the marketing of educational services, innovations and quality. The authors’ mechanism of the accumulating system to stimulate scientific-creative activity of workers has been developed and put into practice. Purpose: This study investigates how international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 26000 influence the perception and adoption of sustainable and responsible practices in Algerian SMEs. By comparing certified and non-certified firms, it evaluates the contribution of these standards to sustainable management and entrepreneurship. -/- Design/Method/Approach: A quantitative, empirical, and comparative approach was applied to assess awareness and integration of responsible management principles. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and interviews across two SME groups – (...) certified and non-certified – allowing comparative analysis of key areas such as corporate policy, strategy, stakeholder engagement, internal processes, and training. -/- Findings: Certified SMEs show a stronger understanding and integration of sustainability principles, reflected in more structured governance and environmental practices. Certification under ISO standards significantly correlates with better management of environmental and workplace concerns. Statistical analysis confirms that certified SMEs more effectively embed sustainability into their operations, enhancing competitiveness. -/- Theoretical Implications: The findings underscore the essential function of international standards as both regulatory and managerial frameworks that promote sustainable management practices. The study supports the argument that structured models of sustainability, such as those embedded in ISO certifications, are fundamental for SMEs seeking to align with international environmental and social expectations. At the same time, the results point to the need for stronger support mechanisms – such as financial incentives and expert guidance – to assist SMEs in fully adopting these practices. -/- Practical Implications: The practical significance of the study lies in several areas. It suggests that government and business institutions should actively promote SME access to international standards by offering supportive certification incentives. Furthermore, it highlights the strategic advantage for SMEs in placing sustainability at the core of their business models, particularly as a tool for improved market positioning. It also emphasizes the importance of enhanced communication with stakeholders to increase transparency and build trust in the company’s sustainability initiatives. -/- Originality/Value: This research offers a new comparative perspective on the role of ISO certifications in shaping sustainable practices within SMEs in a developing country. Unlike earlier studies that focused primarily on large enterprises, this paper illustrates how international standards can serve as a transformative force for small and medium-sized businesses by promoting sustainable entrepreneurship and more responsible management. -/- Research Limitations/Future Research: While the study offers valuable insights, its scope is limited to a sample of 30 Algerian SMEs, which restricts the generalizability of the results. Future research could benefit from a larger and more diverse sample across sectors and regions. This article develops the concept of 'manufacture of dissent ' and ‘moral outrage networks ’ to analyse how moral anger operates as a central motivational force in contemporary societies and how it is increasingly captured, organised, and amplified by digital media systems. Drawing on moral philosophy, evolutionary psychology, sociology, and media theory, the article argues that moral anger is not a pathological excess or a mere expressive outburst, but a socially structured emotion that links ethical perception to action, recognition to (...) resistance, and individual judgement to collective mobilisation. Moral anger is examined through several interrelated forms, including indignation, moral panic, righteous anger, and organised outrage, each of which demonstrates how anger becomes morally charged, narratively framed, and politically consequential. Classical and contemporary debates on the moral justification of anger are revisited to show that anger has historically functioned as a signal of norm violation, a demand for recognition, and a catalyst for social change. At the same time, the article demonstrates how digital infrastructures transform these functions by rewarding escalation, permanence, and visibility, detaching anger from resolution and embedding it within attention-based economies. Moral panic illustrates how anger can be redirected toward symbolic enemies and used as a mechanism of governance, while moral outrage networks reveal how indignation is synchronised at scale, monetised, and converted into identity and power. The article concludes that moral anger remains indispensable for recognising injustice and motivating change, but that its contemporary amplification risks transforming a corrective moral force into a permanent infrastructure of polarisation, control, and managed dissent. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the critical success factors and investigate the benefits that might be gained once implementing Electronic Customer Relationship Management at HEI from employee perspective. The study conducted at Al Quds Open University in Palestine and data collected from (300) employee through a questionnaire which consist of four variables. A number of statistical tools were intended for hypotheses testing and data analysis, including Spearman correlation coefficient for Validity, reliability correlation using Cronbach’s alpha, and (...) The overall findings of the current study show that all the features were important for staff and it was critical success factors, at the same time, websites were providing all the features discussed by the theory whereas staff showed their willingness to use those features if provided. As a response to the COVID-19 crisis, governments have turned to various discretionary measures such as cash transfers to consumers and businesses with mixed results. Universal Basic Income (UBI) is back on the agenda as well. One of the main advantages of UBI, as scholars like F.A. Hayek, Milton Friedman, and James M. Buchanan have argued, is that it does not depend upon competent and benevolent government discretion—which is often in short supply—but upon pre-established rules. This paper argues that the (...) UBI scheme holds tentative promise from the point of view of improving the institutional crisis preparedness of a complex socioeconomic order. The pre-established rules of UBI buttress the rule of law framework that improves the ability of economic agents to spontaneously coordinate their actions in times of crisis characterized by radical uncertainty, disequilibrium shocks, and institutional instability. Furthermore, UBI combines the distribution of fungible resources with the delegation of independent decision-making power to millions of crisis-struck individuals and communities. Compared to discretionary tax-and-transfer schemes, the rules of UBI therefore appear more compatible with the polycentric discovery of novel solutions from the bottom-up. In times of crisis, UBI may be relied upon as one cornerstone of what I shall call the permanent crisis management framework. Having such a permanent scheme may minimize - although it does not altogether eliminate - the need for discretionary transfers, targeted intervention, and technocratic management in times of crisis. However, this theoretical model of UBI as a facilitator of polycentric crisis preparedness faces several practical challenges that need to be addressed in further research. (shrink)

There has been much debate regarding the 'double-effect' of sedatives and analgesics administered at the end-of-life, and the possibility that health professionals using these drugs are performing 'slow euthanasia.' On the one hand analgesics and sedatives can do much to relieve suffering in the terminally ill. On the other hand, they can hasten death. According to a standard view, the administration of analgesics and sedatives amounts to euthanasia when the drugs are given with an intention to hasten death. In this (...) paper we report a small qualitative study based on interviews with 8 Australian general physicians regarding their understanding of intention in the context of questions about voluntary euthanasia, assisted suicide and particularly the use of analgesic and sedative infusions (including the possibility of voluntary or non-voluntary 'slow euthanasia'). We found a striking ambiguity and uncertainty regarding intentions amongst doctors interviewed. Some were explicit in describing a 'grey' area between palliation and euthanasia, or a continuum between the two. Not one of the respondents was consistent in distinguishing between a foreseen death and an intended death. A major theme was that 'slow euthanasia' may be more psychologically acceptable to doctors than active voluntary euthanasia by bolus injection, partly because the former would usually only result in a small loss of 'time' for patients already very close to death, but also because of the desirable ambiguities surrounding causation and intention when an infusion of analgesics and sedatives is used. These measures may entail specific initiatives aimed at particular dimensions of age management; they may also include more general employment or human resources policies that help to create an environment in which (...) individual employees can achieve their potential without being disadvantaged by their age. Promoting early retirement is generally not encouraged. Companies now have to encourage longer working lives. Much needs to be done to ensure that work remains a positive experience for workers throughout their career trajectories, and it does not damage their health. It has been found by studies that health is significantly related to retirement timing, influences work performance, and health-related organisational policies can positively influence employee retention. The major contemporary challenges to health at work are those associated with the way work, and work organisations are designed and managed. This is especially true for older workers. A comprehensive and effective approach towards age management can be very beneficial for them. How should companies implement age management? Some possible ways are set out in this policy brief below, which focuses on best practices in age management regarding ergonomic aspects and health interventions for older workers at an organisational level. The intention is to discuss the current situation and to illustrate some organisational techniques in selected countries. This policy brief can serve as an inspiration for, among others, companies and policymakers. Recommendations for successful practice are included. Reliable energy storage is critical for sustainable power systems, particularly in academic environments where interruptions can disrupt teaching and research. Tubular lead-acid batteries, widely adopted for their affordability and robustness, often face reduced lifespan due to inadequate maintenance and poor monitoring practices. With the advent of digital technologies, battery management can now integrate real-time monitoring, predictive diagnostics, and automated alerts to improve efficiency and reliability. A three-phase framework—data collection and modeling, performance evaluation, and economic benchmarking—ensured coherence and reproducibility. (...) Monocrystalline PV modules (220–330W, 18–20% efficiency) were mounted at a 7° tilt for optimal irradiance in Southern Nigeria, supported by passive cooling. A 60A MPPT charge controller and a 1kW pure sine wave inverter were modeled with high efficiency and protective features. Battery protocols were developed for both tubular lead-acid and LiFePO? types, balancing monitoring, maintenance, and cost quantification to maximize reliability, performance, and lifespan in academic settings. The results show clear differences between tubular lead-acid and LiFePO? batteries in maintenance, cost, and performance. Tubular systems demand weekly checks, monthly charging, and quarterly testing, totaling about 156 labor hours per year, compared to just 24 hours per year for LiFePO? with automated BMS monitoring. Results further indicate that incorporating digital monitoring reduces downtime, enhances predictive maintenance, and extends battery life. This article explores communication models within digital teams, using the professional eSports environment – specifically the game League of Legends – as a case study. The relevance of this research lies in the increasing virtualization of collaborative work and the growing significance of effective communication management in achieving strategic objectives. The study examines the applicability of classical and contemporary communication models – such as Shannon-Weaver, Schramm, transactional, and spiral models – within highdynamic digital contexts where communication unfolds in multichannel, (...) rapidly evolving environments. Using a combination of case study methodology, qualitative content analysis, and structural-functional analysis, the article identifies and reconstructs key communication patterns within digital teams. These include shot-calling, strategic silence, reactive cycles, and layered hierarchies of information exchange. A visualized communication model is presented, mapping the flow of information among team roles (e.g., Shotcaller, Jungler, Support) and identifying critical points of cognitive overload, decision-making bottlenecks, and zones of high information density. The article highlights how communication in digital teams extends beyond immediate gameplay to include organizational and psychological dimensions, supported by a hybrid infrastructure of voice channels, in-game signals, messaging apps, and asynchronous platforms. It emphasizes the manager’s role not only as a message initiator but as an architect of the information environment, capable of regulating flow, rhythm, and distribution of messages based on real-time context and team roles. The findings support the thesis that hybrid communication models, adapted to team dynamics and situational phases, are more effective than standardized frameworks. Practical recommendations include formalizing internal communication protocols, minimizing noise through prioritization of signals, and designing adaptive infrastructures that support synchronous and asynchronous exchanges. Although grounded in eSports, the results have broader implications for communication management in distributed teams, IT projects, remote collaboration, e-learning, and innovation-driven ecosystems. Goat farming is one of the fastest growing activities in terms of quality of its products. In this scenario, the Boer breed is the most important for the goat meat industry worldwide as it specializes in the production of quality meat, where the animals are slaughtered early and with satisfactory zootechnical indexes. Considering this favorable scenario, it was decided to evaluate the quality characteristics of the carcass and meat of these animals; then, 20 Boer goats were housed and distributed in (...) groups where one group received a diet based on hay ad libitum and fixed amounts of corn meal and soybean meal in compliance with the requirements of maintenance and weight gain; the other group was housed in different paddocks daily and received only the roughage present in the pasture. It was observed that the animals tended to present larger posterior cuts (loin and leg) with no significant difference between the feeding regimes. The animals fed with concentrate accumulated more subcutaneous fat compared to the animals under grazing. The meat of grazing animals showed higher glycolytic potential and shear force (FC), however, it had lower final pH than the meat of animals fed with concentrate. It was also possible to verify a ratio of fatty acids from intramuscular fat 4 times higher in the carcass of animals under concentrated regime in comparison to the carcass of animals under rotational grazing. With this study, it can be stated that, through the adopted feed management, the quality characteristics of the carcass and meat and, consequently, their organoleptic attributes, can be influenced, having effects on the goat meat market. Moving beyond traditional rational approaches, the study conceptualizes visual-aesthetic thinking as a form of managerial intelligence that integrates cognitive, sensory, and cultural dimensions of decision-making. It emphasizes that visual perception, color, composition, and spatial design function as non-verbal management tools capable of structuring team behavior, stimulating creativity, and reinforcing brand identity. Purpose. The aim of this study is to determine the role of emotional design as a strategic management tool in the hotel and restaurant business and to analyse its impact on decision-making efficiency, organizational behaviour adaptability, and cognitive engagement of personnel. Methodology of research. The study applies an interdisciplinary approach combining qualitative content analysis of academic publications, case studies of hotel and restaurant enterprises, cognitive analysis of management patterns, and visual ethnographic research of the spatial-sensory environment. The conceptual (...) foundation is based on the design-based strategic management approach, which enables the assessment of how spatial design solutions influence strategic thinking and behavioural models. Findings. The research revealed that emotional design influences key aspects of management in the hotel and restaurant business: it accelerates decision-making in critical situations, reduces cognitive load on staff, fosters a positive emotional environment for customers, and increases customer loyalty. It was proved that spatial design can act as a latent regulator of team behaviour, supporting self-organization and effective interaction without administrative pressure. Originality. The study proposes an interpretation of emotional design as a framing element of strategic management in service businesses. For the first time, the functional multi-level structure of emotional design (visceral, behavioural, and reflective levels) is generalized and its impact on the cognitive engagement of both staff and clients is defined. Practical value. The recommendations developed for integrating emotional design into hotel and restaurant management strategies can be used to improve service efficiency, enhance internal communication, and establish a sustainable emotional connection with customers. ‘Attempted negligence’ is a category of criminal offense that many jurists and philosophers have law have deemed conceptually incoherent. In his Attempts: In the Philosophy of Action and the Criminal Law, Gideon Yaffe challenges this dismissal, anchoring his argument in cases of what he calls ‘mental self-management’ in which agents plan to bring about that they perform unintentional actions at a later time. He plausibly argues that mental self-management-type attempted negligence is possible. However, his account raises the (...) question whether such attempts can be successful: whether, in other words, attempts to perform unintentional actions at a later time could issue in actions that are, indeed, unintentional. Intuitively, at least, it would seem that we should answer in the affirmative. However, that answer poses problems for a plausible and widely-held account of intentional action. Al Mele, responding to Yaffe’s account, has pointed out this problem without, I think, providing a satisfactory resolution. I propose another way of vindicating the possibility of successful attempted negligence with small, if significant, revision to the standard view of intentional action. In these cases, I argue, agents fail to act intentionally because they render themselves, through their acts of self-management, unaware that they are successfully executing their intentions. Moreover, I argue that these agents’ intentions to bring about that they perform unintentional actions do not commit them to acting intentionally because of the nature of intentions to bring about actions. This article develops the concept of 'manufacture of dissent ' and ‘moral outrage networks ’ to analyse how moral anger operates as a central motivational force in contemporary societies and how it is increasingly captured, organised, and amplified by digital media systems. Drawing on moral philosophy, evolutionary psychology, sociology, and media theory, the article argues that moral anger is not a pathological excess or a mere expressive outburst, but a socially structured emotion that links ethical perception to action, recognition to (...) resistance, and individual judgement to collective mobilisation. Moral anger is examined through several interrelated forms, including indignation, moral panic, righteous anger, and organised outrage, each of which demonstrates how anger becomes morally charged, narratively framed, and politically consequential. Classical and contemporary debates on the moral justification of anger are revisited to show that anger has historically functioned as a signal of norm violation, a demand for recognition, and a catalyst for social change. At the same time, the article demonstrates how digital infrastructures transform these functions by rewarding escalation, permanence, and visibility, detaching anger from resolution and embedding it within attention-based economies. Moral panic illustrates how anger can be redirected toward symbolic enemies and used as a mechanism of governance, while moral outrage networks reveal how indignation is synchronised at scale, monetised, and converted into identity and power. The article concludes that moral anger remains indispensable for recognising injustice and motivating change, but that its contemporary amplification risks transforming a corrective moral force into a permanent infrastructure of polarisation, control, and managed dissent. This project addresses the critical issue of traffic safety and law enforcement, specifically focusing on noncompliance with helmet laws by motorcyclists, a leading cause of fatalities in road accidents. Traditional methods of enforcing helmet laws are often ineffective due to the challenge of ensuring immediate detection and action. To solve this, we propose an automated traffic management system that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) with real-time surveillance and data monitoring to improve road safety. The core of the proposed system (...) utilizes YOLOv11 (You Only Look Once), a state-of-the-art object detection algorithm, for both helmet detection and license plate recognition. The system is designed to automatically identify motorcyclists riding without helmets and capture the vehicle's license plate. Once a violation is detected, the system sends an instant notification containing the license plate information to the traffic control officer’s email, enabling immediate enforcement actions. This automated approach significantly enhances the efficiency and speed of traffic law enforcement, while ensuring high accuracy through advanced deep learning techniques. The challenges of the Anthropocene are growing ever more complex and uncertain, underpinned by the emergence of systemic risks. At the same time, the landscape of risk governance has become compartmentalised and siloed, characterized by non-overlapping activities, competing scientific discourses, and distinct responsibilities distributed across diverse public and private bodies. Operating across scales and disciplines, actors tend to work in silos which constitute critical gaps within the interface of science, policy, and practice. Yet, increasingly complex and ‘wicked’ problems require (...) holistic solutions, multi-scalar communication, coordination, collaboration, data interoperability, funding, and stakeholder engagement. To address these problems in a real-world context, we present the Risk-Tandem framework for bridging theory and practice; to guide and structure the integration of disaster risk management (DRM), climate change adaptation (CCA) and systemic risk management through a process of transdisciplinary knowledge co-production. Advancing the frontiers of knowledge in this regard, The Risk-Tandem framework combines risk management approaches and tools with iterative co-production processes as a cornerstone of its implementation, in efforts to promote the co-design of fit-for-purpose solutions, methods and approaches contributing toward strengthened risk governance alongside stakeholders.
