So I’m trying to get caught up with all the new events and such so I decided to put out another post today!  Yay! It’s all new awesome stuffies for you to go get!

If you haven’t been to The Boutique yet, it started on Sunday with it’s new round, so you have time to get down there and check it out.  This gorgeous skin from Glam Affair is just one of the things you’ll probably be picking up while you’re down there.  It’s Neva in America tone.  With 6 available makeups, you’re sure to find the one you love!

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it.  Down at the Seasons Story event, you can pick up this lovely dress from tram.  I’ve seen some people style it with leggings, but I’m going to show off a little leg with mine.  There are a few different colors to choose from.  It’s such a comfy cool look!  It’s perfect for that end of summer afternoon.

Omg and this hair!  I love pigtails!  And so I had to have this new hair from Wasabi Pills.  It’s also available at The Seasons Story event.  Such a cute look!  You better go try it.

Can’t forget shoes to go with the perfect outfit.  These cute boot heels are just what the doctor ordered!  These shoes are also at the Seasons Story event made by JD.  So go get your favorite color!

The Other Side

The Other SideHappy Sunday Lovelies!  Almost time for the weekend to be over.  Bummmerrrrsss.  So why not end the weekend with some new stuff right?  Well some of this isn’t brand new but it’s still available for you to go pick up!  First of all if you haven’t taken a trip down to The Boutique, you must!  This B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L skin called Katya from Glam Affair is available down there!  And you know what?  This isn’t the only make up you can pick from.  There are 6!  So go try these out before August 10th to get your favorite!

And Omg I love this jacket.  I tried it on and I was like oh I must have.  It’s from Pink Acid.  That’s right, Stasey doesn’t just release the most awesome makeups.  She does mesh too!  And this jacket is a must have. It’s in the store now in several different colors!  So go get yours =D.

I needed some hotpants for this outfit and I remember seeing these on flickr or something so I looked up the store called R3VOLT and BAM there they were!  Love them and will probably be going back for more stuff.

I tell you what too, I  cannot get enough of these Bombastic poses from Diesel Works!  I keep finding more ways to use them =D.  Go try them out!

Wild Side

Wild SideI decided to take a step into the wild side today with this lovely dress from Rebel Hope, available at The Boutique!  This isn’t the only print available to choose from.  There are several other safari looks!  Go grab a demo and pick out your favorite so you can step a foot into the wild too.

I can’t get enough Glam Affair.  Totally in my top favorite skin designers.  If you have not been to the new round of The Boutique, you definitely want to get down there because there are a whole bunch of great items available that you won’t be able to live without.  This skin being one of them.  This skin, called Katya, is available in 6 different makeup choices.  It comes in the America tone and you can just pick out your makeup.  Or you can be like me, and just get them all!

Have you checked out the new Gos shoes?  Well if you haven’t there’s a special truffle collection available at The Boutique and you don’t just get one color, you get TWO!  So you definitely don’t want to miss out on these!

Oh I almost forgot!  The Hair Fair started last week (click the link to view the entire gallery from Seraphim)! And if you haven’t been down there to check out the 4 sims of awesomeness, please take some time to do so.  Not only do you get great designs, but part of the proceeds go to Wigs for Kids.  Please check out the link for more information. This is a great organization that helps kids around the world.   This hair I picked up is from Exile.  It is one of the hairs at the Hair Fair.  This only one of the hundreds you can go check out!   So don’t miss out on a great event for a great cause!

Dani’s Digits

Dani's DigitsHappy Monday Everyone!  It’s time for a new challenge this week from Strawberry Singh!  I know this one had been done before but we all change right?  Maybe even if it’s a little bit.  I didn’t do this challenge before so this is my first one to show my digits.  It really is neat to show comparison to all the avatars out there.  Now we aren’t just comparing our digits but we’re comparing our proportions too!  There’s a few questions to answer and some of your digits to list!  You don’t have to list all of them if you don’t feel comfortable.  But I’m pretty secure with myself so I shared mine on my actual picture =D.  So here you go, no don’t forget to show yours next!

Proportions Challenge Questions:

  1. Do you try and keep your avatar’s body proportionate and similar to the “average” proportions pictured above? – I honestly never really thought about it before now.  I just made my shape how I liked to look at it in different outfits, etc.  I guess being a shape maker I should pay more attention to these huh?  But I mostly make what people want to see or what they are buying.
  2. What do you dislike the most about the SL avatar mesh? – I only dislike Mesh that doesn’t fit right.  Most mesh is made to fit standard avatars and my proportions are pretty standard so I don’t have a whole lot of problems.
  3. Does it bother you when you see other avatars that are not proportionate at all? – Honestly most of the time I don’t even see it because there are so many shapes out there of all sizes and proportions.  Sometimes if it stands WAY WAY out I might be like “woah”, but most of the time its interesting to see how people style their proportions.
  4. Even though this is a virtual world and people can be anything they want to be, do you feel when they are in human form, they should try to keep their proportions close to average? No, I don’t.  This is Second Life and you can be what you want and who you want and how you want.  So kudos to those to step way out there and try new things.

Get Your Shine On

SpringCollabHappy Hump Day lovelies!  I felt like doing a pretty pic today so I moseyed on down to Kittens Heaven to get the perfect shot.  If you haven’t been there, you have to go see. The region is just absolutely beautiful and a great spot for pictures!  Or even just to relax.  Today I’m going to show you a lot of new stuffies!

If you didn’t already know, a new round of Collabor88 has begun and this collection is just fabulousss!  I think almost everything I’m wearing is from this round!  This Mesh open shirt, corset and cut off shorts are all the amazing designs from Fashionably Dead available at Collab right now!  There’s different colors and prints for each piece so you can mix and match your favorite to make your own look.

Also this lovely new ombre hair is available at Collab too.  It is made by LaViere.  Reminds me of a hair style I’d have in RL!  So cute you have to try!

And O M G!  Glam Affair released a new line of skins for this round of Collab called Margot and it is just beautiful!  I’ll have more to show you later on =D.  Go try it for yourself!  I promise you will not walk away empty handed when you head down there!

Pour It Up

ZaraMeHave you been to the Skin Fair yet?  Hmm.  That’s what I thought.  Well you only have 10 more days to get down there and get all the amazing skins your heart desires so get on down there!   I hope everyone is having a fabulous week!  We’ve made it almost to the end.  Phewwwww..

Today I’d like to show you some Zara from Glam Affair.  This skin’s beauty is out of this world.  From the dazzling eye makeup to the luscious lips, I just cannot get enough.  I think I wear a different make up each day just so I can get my Zara fix.  Zara comes in 6 tones and 12 different make ups.  This is the American tone shown here.  Each skin comes with a clean version also so if you’re feeling like a no make up day you can still enjoy Zara.  Go try this one. It’s on Sim 2 right on the top part as you teleport in.
