True Love's Beginning

Hello everyone!  I will be moving blog addresses starting today and completely effective as of February 10th.  I will still be blogging and all that jazz, just moving to a domain with hosting other than wordpress. So if you have us on your blogroll or follow list, or you are one of the many designers we blog for the new address will be:  Once Upon a Second Life.   If you don’t already know, the two of us, He Got Swag (Brayden Thirdborn) and Miss Painfully Hip (DanicaSaerwen), have decided to join blogs.  Why?  Well to start the story,  Brayden and I met here in Second Life.  We fell in love with each other and got married in world.  Then we decided to take it into the real life and began the start of a great relationship.  Four years later, here we are, married in Real Life, and of course living together.  Some say they don’t believe in fairy tales.  Well I do.  Because I’m living my fairy tale here in Real Life and in Second Life with the same amazing man and family.  So we want to share our Second Life with you.  Our fashion, our joy, our happiness, our passions, our family and much much more.  We hope you will continue following us here now through this storybook.  We love you all, our friends, family, fans, and followers.

Winter’s Kiss

Winter's Kiss

Good morning lovelies!  I just love winter.  All the snow and pretty things.  I’m sorry I’ve been away for a bit.  Real life has been kicking my butt.  BUT I’m back now and happier than ever.  I have some wonderful news to share!  My SL husband, Brayden Thirdborn and I eloped in Real Life this past weekend!  We’ve been together for a long while now and just felt that it was time.  I know we wanted to do the big wedding and reception but for now this is just as good. We’ll do all the big stuff next year.  The important thing is we are more in love than we’ve ever been.  And it was definitely the right decision.

Ok ok enough of my mushy story haha!  Anyways I wanted to share this beautiful picture with you today.  We actually took this picture at our home in SL and the amazing Polly Elan edited it!  We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

In this picture we used a new pose at The Men’s Dept, made by the fabulous Luna Jubilee at !bang poses.  It fit the mood, the look, and the picture!  Love it!  Such a soft sweet pose.

Til the EndWell ladies and gentlemen, we are in the final hours of the ShoeTopia event to come to a close.  So all you shoe lovers you best get down there and get your favorites!  These adorable shoes that I’m wearing right now from N-Core are just ONE of the fabulous pairs of shoes you can pick up.

Also there’s a new event on the grid called Winter Trend SL!  It started yesterday and lasts til December 13th.  You can find lots of warm cozy designs perfect for the season!  This adorable sweater from Suicidal Unborn is one of the great designs you go get.  It comes with a texture HUD with different colors so you can find the one you love the best.

Heyyyyy there lovelies!!! Life has been soooo busy lately I haven’t had time to even think!  Had a short vacation last weekend and now I’m back to show you some more goodies!  If you haven’t been down to ShoeTopia, you have until the 30th to do so.  And if you do you should go check out these CUTTTTEEEE boots.  These are something you don’t want to live without along with tonnns of other amazing shoes to fill your inventory with!

I decided to step out of the norm too with this new hair from Exile called Erase and Rewind, and wear black.  Normally I wear Blonde or brown hairs but today I felt like wearing Raven.  It fit the look and the mood.  Love it!  So you should go try it too!  There are a couple of other new ones too to choose from.

Real life gets the best of me sometimes and I get behind but I’m getting caught up slowly but surely!  I hope everyone is having a fabulous week.  If you didn’t know, the new event called The Body Modification Expo has started. Happy Hump Day everyone!  I hope you are all having a fabbbbulous day.  I had a minute of time during a break at work and happen to run into my bestie Brooklynn Frostbite, so we decided to show you some more fun stuff you can get at Candy Fair 2013.  If you haven’t had a chance to get down there, there’s a lot of fun stuff to look at and buy, and you have until the 18th to do so!

I’m totally in love with this skin that The Skinnery released at Candy Fair.  There are a few different make ups to choose from but his one fit perfect for my outfit.  I have a Candy Face!  You can’t beat that hehe.

And this dress from Sassy is just too cute too.  There are 4 different colors to choose from but I was on a mint kick, so this was definitely the winner!

This crown is just doll.  It’s a gumball crown from Atooly!  If you’ve never been to Atooly, she really makes some adorable things, and you must go check out this at the Candy Fair and mosey on down to her store too to find more goodies!
