Natural Calm

Being part of a family is always great, although I don’t really talk to the ladies of Dandelion Daydreams Factory Sim all that often. They have welcomed us from Pixel Mythos, to their sim, and have given us rez rights. Many pictures have been taken on the sim, and posted to this blog, as well as Free*Style. I always feel comfortable here, and enjoy the nature on my visits. I always find something new, and enjoy visiting favorite spots. It is great for me to be able to quickly rez out an item, that I otherwise would not be able to post, for lack of a proper place to rez it.

Today I have some H&G items from [CIRCA] to show you. The log behind me, is a couples log, with many animations. It has grasses and flowers with it, to make a complete and cozy little scene. The Sleeping Willow in the back is also from [CIRCA], which comes with some grasses at it’s base. Both items you can find at Fantasy Faire, which is officially running until May 1st.

I’m also wearing a few things from Fantasy Faire. There is always so much to discover, to collect, do participate in. I actually take time off, so that I can enjoy it a bit, each year.

The moon so bright and full, calls to the creatures of the night. There are places to be, places to explore. The vale has lifted and new worlds have arisen from the murky depth. All creatures, big and small, hear the call, and are compelled by it. Come, it says. Explore, it says.

Fantasy Faire is now open, and you have until May 1st to explore the wonder of all 14 sims.

I was lucky to be chosen to be an official writer for the Fantasy Faire Website, so you will see me posting there, as well as Free*Style and It’s only Fashion.

I have been a long time designer friend of Alpha Auer, the owner of alpha.tribe, and she contacts me yesterday, out of the blue. Low and behold, she is in Fantasy Faire, with new and wonderful avatar art for everyone to wear. We had a good chat, and she was ever so kind to pass me a few of her items.

I am wearing one of her more tame outfits, called Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Like all of the wearable art in the store, this outfit is unisex, includes skins, hair, garments, accessories and footwear. I was called to this outfit the most out of the lot, and felt very vampiric once adorned.

I decided to soup up the skin a little with the new eyeshadows from Musa, which were also released at Fantasy Faire. You can view the options HERE. The set includes 8 shadows, for default avatars and Omega compatible mesh heads. There is also a charity pack of 3 shadows, with all proceeds going to Relay for Life.

This week on Monday Eyeful, I am showing you another find from We Love Roleplay. Mudskin has created a series of eyes, which have some very unique light shines I have not seen done before on an sl eye.

They are called Queen Eyes.

They are priced L$89 per pack of 10 colourations. These are discounted, I can’t recall what the percentage on them was, for the discount. System and Mesh versions are included in the pack.

Tomorrow is 25L Tuesday, and On a Lark has some Circlets out. One has flowers, the other doesn’t if you want a more plain look. They are currently out, prepped for the coming hoards of shoppers.

Monday Eyeful – Darks Eyes by La Boheme

This week on Monday Eyeful, I am excited to bring you some news. I have been a patron at La Boheme for some time now, and they have started to make eyes! As with everything they do, there are many options in each affordable pack.

These don’t have a fancy name, and are simply called Dark Eyes.

They are priced L$50(1/3 off for We Love Roleplay) per pack of 10 colorations. System and Mesh versions are included in the pack.

I ended up purchasing 2 packs. There is even a L$5 sampler of 2 variations, so you can try them out before you go all in and buy up all the packs.

It is a We Love Roleplay day, so I am also wearing the new Eyeshadow from Musa. I layered it on top of the new skin from Tuli. Tuli did an interesting thing, and created a whole Elven kit situation. You can get the base skin on it’s own, and then purchase Mesh Teeth, Mesh Ears, Lipsticks and Eyebrows on the side. The Eyebrows and super fun, due to the fact that the colours aren’t the typical colours you find out there. They are perfect for creating and elven or fae look, and should be a new staple for you, going into the upcoming Fantasy Faire season.

Skinful Sundays – Elistrae Skins by Plastik

I wear so many alternatively toned skins, and get constantly asked what I am wearing, either by people bumping into me or visitors at the store. I thought it might be nice to start featuring some of the places I collect my crayola coloured skins from, as they aren’t always the easiest things to find.

First up are the new Elistrae Skins from Plastik. These were newly released at Skin Fair last month, I just didn’t manage to roll out this feature while the event was open. You can now find these at the Plastik Mainstore.

Plastik has a buttload of appliers, like there are so many. If you end up not being able to use these skins with your mesh parts, I would be super surprised. The one thing that draws me in is that they still support Genesis Labs, which many designers have stopped creating for. While I do have a Logo mesh head now, I still am drawn to the Genesis Lab heads the most, so any designer that still makes appliers for them is bound to stay in my top 10 for skin makers.

Another great feature of the skins is that you can have glitter on your butt. How many skins in recent years have you seen with glitter on the butt?

The Skins make me think of a cross between Fantasy Space Alien and Drow. There are many tones to choose from, which makes it super hard to pick just ones. Zesstra is probably my favorite, if I was forced to choose just one.

Future Self

What would you look like, in the future, in a galaxy far far away?

Soul has released head tendrils as their new offering at We Love Roleplay for April. They come hudded for all the current Soul Skinlines for perfect matching, but they work with Omega Appliers as well, so any skins you own with those should work.

They have nifty glowy patterns, which can be tinted to any colour of your choosing by using the hud.

I decided to wear my new dress from !Chop Shop!, which is a little racy, so I threw on a corset underneath. There are a bunch of colours in the shop, I liked this green one and the gold version the most.

The little glowy stars are from Cole’s Corner. If ever you want a simple way to dress up an outfit, throwing on some particles will do that for you. They aren’t obnoxious, and they give you an extra something something.
