The Keeper of Untold Tales

Every story has a Narrator, even the really old ones.

How did they go about making sure each tale ended up having one, even if the stories were untold?

They would force a soul into a scroll, and as the words were written, the soul would alight with the new knowledge. A simple touch would activate the soul into telling the tale written on the fine papers.

As years went on, and less practiced the art of soulbinding, these souls were tied to more and more scrolls. Some would have up to 20 scrolls bounded to them.

In time, as with many things, this was all lost in history. People forgot about the soul bound scrolls, and the tales yet to be told.

The Keepers of the Untold Tales became bitter things. They had given up their eternal happiness for a greater cause, only to be left dusty on a shelf somewhere, forgotten. The bitterness gave them their own power of sorts, to appear without writing on their scrolls. People often mistook them for wraiths or banshees, history having forgotten their true purpose.

They are often seen near forgotten temples, library ruins and dismantled schools.

To look upon them is rather eerie, as they either just stare, or look like they are speaking, but no words every come out.

To lay a Keeper to rest, all you have to do is write a tale on one of their scrolls. When done, hide it in a safe place.

Monday Eyeful – Beautiful Creature Eyes by Rainbow Sundae

This week on Monday Eyeful, I am showing you eyes from Rainbow Sundae. Another new to me store, which is sort of the point of this feature, me showing you eyes from places you might not know too.

These are from Rainbow Sundae called Beautiful Creature Eyes.

They are priced at L$150 per pack of 6, with 2 packs to collect. System/BOM and Omega Appliers are included in the pack. These are 100% charity items for Relay for Life at this years Fantasy Faire.

I have been enjoying the look of these on a mesh head that you can manipulate the eyes to be rather large. I think they are striking, and can be used for many different sorts of creatures. Great for Roleplaying, and fantasy looks.

I’m also wearing a few other things from Fantasy Faire. The crown is from Ambix and the Tattoo is from Even-Tide. Both are 100% Relay for Life Charity Items.

I was so happy to learn Even-Tide was still around. It is hard trying to check up on all your friends, and all the stores, when you come back after such a long break. So many people are resurfacing as well. It feels like a good time to have come back, even though the reasons for so many inworld right now aren’t the best.

Crystals!!!

Very rarely do I blog in the H&G category. I actually have never had a home in sl, prims are precious. Even with the 2 sims, and all the mainland I have, I just always thought it was silly to waste the prims on a home.

I do have urges every once in a while, and sometimes things are just too cool to pass up. That is what these huge Crystals are for me. Something really cool, that I wanted, and didn’t care if I had a place for them. I will eventually put one out at my store desk, or in my work station(which is where I photographed these).

If you want some random crystals for yourself, then you have to head on down to Ostara’s Alter Event. These are the New and Exclusive item from Celeste.

If you are up to a slight, not so challenging challenge, there is this really cool globe thing, that Celeste has out for their Hunt item. It is only L$5, and the eggs in the hunt are rather huge and easy to find.
