More bathroom remodel

As you can see, I'm not much of a blogger these days...

Joe and I have had a great time working on this together. First, we finished the floor:

Then I painted - I finally found the shade of red that I love - the deepest I could find. It makes me want to repaint the rest of the red in my house that wasn't quite right... but maybe that can wait for another day...

I also turned all of the brass in the bathroom into a rubbed bronze (see the shower?) with a metal spray paint. (Found those great rugs at Costco for $10 each - they're just the right shade of red too!)

Next was the panel moulding...

Which was a lot of work, but I'm loving the result:

Now we need to finish the moulding at the top, which will mimic the panel moulding, and then I'm on to refinishing the cabinetry and changing out the mirror.
