Bio

I’m a plugin developer at Yoast where I work on the company’s plugins, by adding new features and improving the existing codebase.

WordPress Origin Story

I met WordPress when I first started as a junior developer straight out of college. At first, it stood out to me as a means for easily creating end products and websites. Since then though, and having realized the potential one developer can have being a WordPress enthousiast, I now can see what makes WordPress a unique entity in the web. The community, of course. The WordPress community is the most diverse, thought-provoking and helpful group of people I have (never) met in my life. I can proudly say that I try everyday to be a worthy member of it.
