Unpack With Me. (10Ld Teleport/Pearl Fashion Group Gift)

I decided, since I was short on time, to scroll through the Teleport Group notices and found this…

Not going to lie, it’s soooooo much better than I’d hoped, and also I think I may have missed something…the sheerness.

As you can see, there is a subtle sheerness to this dress, and in some of the colours the sheerness is much more noticeable, such as the dark brown and black shades, while the paler natural shades are more subtle. However, when I look at the picture in the TeleportHub post, I wonder if the HUD also offers an option to change the sheerness… I will have to check that out soon.

Till then, the fits are: Erika, GenX Classic/Curvy, Kupra, Legacy/Perky, Maitreya/Petite & Reborn. The chain is an addon, so you have the option to wear it or not. And a HUD of 12 shades.

I had to check, and yes, you can change the sheerness. The colour HUD is small but look at the bottom right corner and there is a little tab, click that and you can use the menu to change the sheerness.

I’m Not Bothering. (350Ld Gift Card for 10Ld Group Fee).

Carol’s shop has a new 350Ld gift card for us, only 10Lds to join the group…BUT…”I’m not bothering”, and by that I mean I’m not rushing over as I can clearly see that within minutes of this being posted the shop is heaving!

Since I didn’t want to fight through the hoard, I simply dusted off 2 of my “go-to” Carol’s items that I already own and took a pretty picture. I can’t tell you the fits as I’ve just kept mine, but Carol’s does have all the fits you can need.

Oops, I must point out that as soon as the shop quietens down, I will be over there in a heartbeat to treat myself to something.

Arty Event & Some Freeness. PBR Only.

Basically, one of my rare inworld friends sent me a link to an art event/installation because she knows I do like looking at art.

All you’re getting is this one single photo as this is the entrance to the event. Simply walk in and click the TP board at the end of the room to begin your journey.

You will NEED to be able to use PBR.

Now for spam and a mention of some freebies.

At the LM given to your right is a fatpack of free windlight settings, very nice ones, and also a link to a YouTube tutorial.

I’ve changed my mind, and here is the link to the YouTube tutorial as I think anyone who isn’t using PBR yet or is still having issues or wants to use it better, then check this out.

If you walk into the shop ahead of you, on the wall to the left before you go in are some LM’s which are, I think, a mix of places/shops? I’ve grabbed a few of them to check them out later. Finally, on the desk in that shop, there are a lot of identical gift bags, each is 1Ld, and it is refunded. You don’t need to buy more than one bag as they contain the same gift and decor…ask me how I know lol.

Last word is why only one photo, I did TP to the pink skybox, I entered the first telephone box which TP’d me to a stunning PBR light show, and there was no way in heck I could take a photo to show you that, you have to experience it for yourself.

You Know They’re Drooling Over The Shoes! (Freebie).

I retreated to a sandbox to start unpacking all the stuff I’ve bought in the weekend sales, yeah, I do buy a lot that you will never see, and also unpack more of the stuff I picked up from the Marketplace, and decided these Free shoes from the legendaire shop are a perfect way to end my SL day.

I will just mention the backdrop, which made me chuckle. If you’re in the Bearded Guy group,500Lds, you will know there has been a gift a day set out for us for the whole month to celebrate his birthday, and this is just one of them. This isn’t a free group, and since it’s all backdrops, I’ve not mentioned it before because we “Beardies” will already know about it, and it ends today, he might just leave them out for a bit longer, just not add any more.

And yes, no feet, not even chicken ones, means no fit for me. Considering the fits are: Maitreya, SLink, Reborn, Kupra & Belleza, I am surprised I didn’t find one.

I’ve zoomed in so you can see that the heel does have that cut-away effect. You get a 20 Hud shade for the shoe and 2 metal ones for the heel/metal.

The Legendaire shop used to be, or maybe is still, a big shop in SL, as I can see there is an inworld link; however, my old LM didn’t work, and I don’t have time to log back in.

Over the years, I got so many gifts and bargains from this shop; I have fond memories of it, however, as time has passed its all gone. Will see if there is an inworld shop tomorrow, but till then…NIGHTY NIGHT.

I’ve not been as active in SL as I usually am because I’ve had a cold, a miserable, snotty, coughy, headachy cold. On top of that, between the heat and coughs, I’ve not slept well, but I’m finally over the worst of it and woke up feeling almost human…coffee always helps.

I sat in bed first thing this morning slupring coffee, counting my blessings that I was feeling human again, and of course, checking out the SL Marketplace.

I knew as soon as I saw this Dollarbie on the Wink2Blink MP shop that it was going to be good! Super pretty summery/rainbowy shades. Just lovely folds and attention to detail.

Ignore the fact that one arm looks like I’m wearing a sleeve, which is most odd.

This is, of course, a “Pride Month” gift, but no matter what your sexual orientation is, this is a super pretty dress for all…or rather those who have the LaraX, Legacy, Maitreya 5.3 & Reborn fits and can use PBR.

Check out their inworld shop as they have this dress in the JUCIEST Tie Dye shades ever! Only 113Ld for a fatpack of shades. One of the shades alone on the big poster caught my eye as it’s a very “slice of melon” shade.

Yay, I’m Not Late. (Freebie & The Kowloon Sim)

I saw this gift in a freebie post, but it was so long ago I thought I’d missed it, as I think it is also a “time-limited” gift, and happily enough, it turns out I’m still in time. Look on stand below the poster holders and buy for 0Ld.

It’s not really my style, and so not a keeper, but that doesn’t mean it’s not your style. You get the tracksuit in the Legacy/Reborn fits; however, it will probably fit a lot more, so still try it out. The cute bag, and you get a matching pair of shoes to complete a whole look.

If you’re interested, the bloody bat is a purchase from the Pixit Pose shop.

Sorry, my SL/RL time is getting short, so I cannot wax lyrical about the Kowloon City sim, but any old timers in SL will know this sim well, and anyone who hasn’t heard of the Kowloon City sim is in for a treat! Make sure to have headphones plugged in and volume up so when you’re wandering the alleys, streets, and shops, you also get to hear the sounds of the city.

Splurge(199Ld) Or Free? (Freebie).

These sneakers are the new Analogical Group Gift. This is a free group, and I think Faith and I have blogged about the other gifts, which, from memory, I think were pretty good.

The fits for these are: Kupra, Legacy, Maitreya & Reborn. Additionally, there is a large HUD for the shoes and socks.

The Analogic shop shares the same floating platform in the sky as the Believe shop. This is the way shops should look in SL. When you make your shop look appealing and interesting, both outside and inside, it draws people in.

I originally went there to check out the new group gift in the Believe shop. This isn’t a free group, 199Lds, and since I was already in the group for me, all I had to do was pay 1Ld, and its redfunded. I think once you see the gifts, you will be more than happy to join the group, as for that initial fee, you get a lot of quality gifts.
