you look so pale dear
did my ivories graze you
you look very tired
I have completely drained you
come, lie in my narrow bed

Sweet Tooth – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

Sweet Tooth

The sly hip
your tender caress
ecstasy
elation
two pin pricks oh my so pale
drained as I am gorged.

After Dinner – a poem by Paul Vincent Cannon

Photo: Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries – popsugar.com

“With mouth so sweet, so poisonous …” Conrad Aiken

After Dinner

After dinner
in his rakish suit
and exquisite silken tie
under the canopy of
rich black hair
combed down,
so lean
you think he'll
slowly, tenderly
unbutton your blouse
stroke your thighs
till tremors overrun
and dizzying lights
whirl your eyes,
but did you not notice
the glint in his
or ivory sharp
at lip's edge,
how can I tell you
when you are so
besotted,
he'll drink your blood.
