QUANTERA III RIA: COFUND IN QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES
Project description
QuantERA III is a European cofund programme designed to strengthen Europe's leadership in quantum technologies through coordinated transnational research and innovation. Building on the success of previous QuantERA initiatives, the programme supports excellent collaborative research projects while fostering long-term cooperation across the European quantum ecosystem.
Bringing together research funding organisations from 30 countries, QuantERA III will launch co-funded calls to support cutting-edge research in Quantum Phenomena and Resources as well as Applied Quantum Science. By combining national and European funding, the programme enables researchers to address ambitious scientific challenges while promoting cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Objective
Beyond funding research, QuantERA III aims to reduce fragmentation across the European Research Area by strengthening synergies between national initiatives, supporting policy development and promoting inclusiveness and sustainability within the quantum community. The programme also works closely with the Quantum Flagship and international partners to maximise Europe's global impact in quantum technologies.
By supporting breakthrough research and creating a sustainable framework for future collaboration, QuantERA III will accelerate scientific excellence, stimulate innovation and reinforce Europe's competitiveness across the entire quantum technology landscape.
