May is going to be a very busy month for events, opening tomorrow are The Home Show, Oneword and Totally Top Shelf. We ❤ Roleplay opens on 4th, I don’t know how I’m going to keep up with all the awesomeness!

Let’s start with Totally Top Shelf, this round’s theme is Alpha & Omega. The headdress I’m wearing is part of the Fairy Princess set by MA, this set includes lots of pieces and also comes in gold. Also at the event will be the cog seat from Neverwish (which I’ve made really small for my photo), this also comes in a few colours.

Oneword’s theme for the May round is Darkness and Katat0nik has made these amazing eye roses! The pack includes system eyes and two roses, I loved these as soon as I saw the ad and as you can see I added a couple of extras! Also at Oneword is my pose and flashlight by elymode, there are lots of poses and the flashlight is colour changeable. The scary statue is by Lost Junction, available in two colours.

On to The Home Show! The light bulbs are by Soy, I love the detail on these, there are single bulbs and strings of bulbs in the set in several varieties. The pretty lanterns are by Jian and have lots of texture options as well as the option to switch the light on and off or have it on day cycle.

Finally, We ❤ Roleplay! I’m wearing the fabulous Plaid Vest by The Forge, this comes in three colours and I’m super pleased that it’s resizeable so I could fit it to dolly with no problems.

One of the things I love about events like Fantasy Faire is that I always come across shops that are new to me. Quite how I’ve managed to miss Stargazer Creations is beyond me but I’m so glad I found them through Fantasy Faire! I fell in love with their Fenodyree avatar after seeing some pictures on Flickr, the skin is so pretty and I love the wonderful fantasy tones. The pack also comes with leaf accessories for arms and legs, hair and eyes (not shown here), horns, wings and hooves! I’m wearing them with my Maitreya body and got them to fit pretty well after a bit of shape tweaking.

Also at Fantasy Faire are my ears by Eclectica, the pose and bow/arrow props by Eternal Dream, the beautiful flowers with lights by The Looking Glass and the Causeway Builder’s Kit by Cube Republic. The links next to each item will take you to the Fantasy Faire sim where that store is located.

I have yet more wonderful things from Fantasy Faire to share with you today. The amazing Enchanted Tree by Boudoir is their second donation item at the event, the first being the Money Bath I featured in a previous post. The tree is gorgeous as you can see, I love the colour so much!

Another item I’m absolutely thrilled with is the Flying Book Moth by Sweet Revolutions, these can be seen flying around on the Sylvan of Spells sim, I actually did a little squee when I saw them, they’re amazing!

I’ve also used the pretty Bottle Bottom Glass Beads by Lilith’s Den and some pieces from Fallen Gods Inc, which you can see all around the Odyssey sim. I’ve used the Floating Pearls and the Shelled Pearl.

The kimono I’m wearing is by Sakide, I’m wearing the purple version which is a donation item, there are lots of pretty colours available.

The wonderful tea cups and book stack are by Kalopsia at Shiny Shabby, the cups are so pretty I decided to make them huge so you could get a load of all that wonderful detail. Both pieces are part of the Antique Tea Cart Set.

I’m back with more lovelies from Fantasy Faire to show you. Zyn has some really pretty items out including this Beaded Web Headdress, I’m wearing the White Pearl version but there are plenty of colour options to choose from. I love how it looks with the beautiful Nayeli hair from Truth.

I’m also wearing the Fantasy Face Gems by no. 7 which come with top, bottom or full versions (I’m wearing full) and a colour change hud, so pretty!

I couldn’t care less about being rich, I mean sure, everyone wants to have a bit more cash, but for me there are so many more important things. I consider myself rich because I have my health and a loving family and friends, these are the things that make me happy.

Unfortunately, there are many people in the world who don’t have these things, we can help in our small way by giving generously where we can, being a good friend and supporting our families and treating everyone around us with kindness and respect.

Fantasy Faire 2015

It’s finally time, Fantasy Faire is open! The builds are outstanding and there’s so many wonderful things to discover, I just wanted to share a little bit of the magic with you today. And of course this is guilt free shopping as the event is part of Relay for Life, raising funds for the American Cancer Society, more info can be found on the website.

First up, my look! The outfit, flower accessories, scales, hair, horns and necklace can all be found at Fantasy Faire. I had a difficult time choosing a first outfit to blog because there’s so much available, I’m sure I’ll be showing you plenty more in the coming days.

My fabulous hair is by Analog Dog and called Petula, I love the swishyness of it and such an unusual style. My outfit is by Bite & Claw, beautifully textured and really well fitting. The pretty scales are by Even-Tide, they come in light and dark and with all sorts of appliers. My cute horns are by Cubic Cherry Creations and also come in a variety of colours, I love that their asymmetrical! The flower accessories are by NSP, there’s also a mask in this set, not shown here. The pretty necklace is by Talevin’s Designs, so beautiful and delicate.

April Showers

Lots of lovely greenery and flowers in my post today. The Little Branch has some amazing items out right now, the sunflowers can be found at The Liaison Collaborative, the hook thorn pots at Cosmopolitan and the Apple Shad (only the ground part and parts of the canopy seen here) and Lotus Headband are at Shiny Shabby.

I also added Mistique’s Lovers Tree to the scene which includes the bench and trees to either side, this comes with lots of lovely poses included.

The hanging lamps are by Kalopsia and are available at Kustom 9, they’re beautifully detailed as you can see and they come in a few colours, I’ve used bronze here.

Today’s photo features the new release from Boudoir, the Wearable Boudoir! It’s so luxurious and intricately detailed, I just love it! You can find this in the store now.

The boudoir contains two poses but here I’ve used a pose by Musa who do an excellent range of unusual fantasy style poses.

I did add a few little touches to the scene including the wonderful Candy Chickadee birds by Half-Deer for The Liaison Collaborative. These sweet little birdies come in lots of lovely candy colours and there are animated and static versions. I also added the lovely pot of lilies which is a new release from keke, so pretty!

The current round of Genre is awesome, the theme is Rockabilly which I love so I couldn’t wait to put a new look together. My hair, dress, glasses and shoes are all from the event.

I was so excited today when I saw there was a new group gift from Doll Coco! I’ve been admiring the pics of the new doll avatars on tumblr for a while now and can’t wait for them to be released. The gift included a body, head and outfit and the body now comes in 11 pieces. I love the new stuff but I’ll also continue to use the older avatar and heads because I’m so attached to them now.

IDK is open! The theme of this round is April Showers and there’s lots of lovely stuff to be had, here I’m wearing Silent Sparrow’s Luna Antlers which come in bright, natural and pastel, each with a colour change hud, so pretty!

I’m thrilled with Kalopsia’s contribution to the TAG Gacha event, the Madame Shae Dee set. Here I’m using the Levitation Table, Broken Chair, Ritual Candle and Spells Book but there’s plenty more bits and bobs to collect. TAG Gacha opens on 17th.

MeshedUp are releasing this fantastic blindfold and gag necklace set at Black Fashion Fair, also opening on 17th. The set comes in black and brown and is as usual, excellent quality.

I also want to mention by beautiful dress by katat0nik at Kawaii Project. I’ve been a huge fan of katat0nik since I first blundered in to Second Life and I have kept all my old dresses boxed up as I can’t bear to delete them. When I saw this it reminded me so much of some of my old favourites I couldn’t wait to wear it.

I’m wearing yumyums Hope Lilac skin which will be available at the event, the makeup on this is a pastel dream! I’m wearing with it Clemmm’s Butcher Lips in Skin which is fantastically creepy but still manages to look cute!

We ❤ Role-Play is open and Wimey has the gorgeous Garfunkel Gown there in several colours, I’m wearing the aqua version, it’s so soft and dreamy but the metal corset section adds a little twist which I love.

I’ve used parts of keke’s amazing set for the upcoming TAG Gacha event for my scene today. The set is called “the sky is the limit” and this is what inspired today’s photo. I’m using the moon, stars screen and stars here but there are lots more pieces to collect so make sure you check it out when the event opens.
