Back in the day

Rewind event has opened, dedicated to all things 90’s, my favourite decade! Addams have made a version of the infamous dress worn by spice girl Geri Halliwell, as well as a matching undies set. Yes the dress comes in a union jack version too! You can wear the undies and dress separately and as usual they come in a whole host of colours.

CURELESS and Moon Amore have collaborated on the most awesome set, 90’s Splash which is crammed full of wonderful nostalgia and cute outfits too! On the left you can see the ultra-rare tattoos and common ice-cream cup and jelly shoes. On the right I’m wearing one of the rare dresses and common items lollypop, foolby and jelly shoes (can you tell I love the jelly shoes?) Snowdrops

New year, new look blog. I always feel better for a bit of reorganisation to keep things fresh and while I liked my old template, I felt I was losing too much of the image in some cases where it was full-screening so I’ve opted for a cleaner look here. I’m also trying to take up less space with my credits because they can go on and on! Any feedback on these changes would be welcome.

Now, on to more important things, such as this new hair by [monso]. Sora’s gorgeous textures and delightfully messy styles have made her a firm favourite and this style is no exception, voluminous, with hair over both shoulders as well as falling down the back, this style can be dressed up or down, perfect for any occasion.

Check out these adorable face bandages by CURELESS, they were released for 50 L Friday this week but unfortunately I couldn’t get a post done in time. There’s a hud included to change the bandage colour and they are modifiable so you can get a great fit on any head. Just click on edit linked in the edit menu to move and resize the individual pieces.

The Project Se7en has opened the doors for it’s January round, my outfit and super cute sneakers are both from this event, open until the end of January. There’s a wonderful mix of creators with plenty of variety on offer so be sure to pay a visit.

Some gorgeous new treats to show you today, starting with the delicate and pretty Elowen set by Wicca’s Wardrobe at The Gacha Garden. The whole set comes in five metal colours and consists of foot accessories in flat and heeled versions, thong, bra, belly chain, arm chains and headpiece as well as a necklace. The bra and thong outfit and the arm pieces are the two rares in the set and the belly chain is a gift item.

The beautiful pendant light is by keke for The Forest, they come in three colours and three lengths, I love the little lights at the end of the spokes!

My face scar is by CURELESS for the past Fifty Linden Friday, it’s an omega applier along with system layers and you can find it at the main store now.

Today I have some more loveliness from The Crystal Heart Festival to show you in the form of the very pretty lumisphere bubbles by keke. I’m a sucker for sparkly things and these are right up my street, great for photographers or just to add a bit of shininess to your second life.

My shoulders and tiara are a brand new collaboration by Una & Mushilu for The Project Se7en. They come in four colour options, I’m wearing Crystal Silver here. These pieces are unrigged and resizable for easy fitting and very pretty!

The Good Life

I thought I would finally getting around to doing a photo that shows off the wonderful home I share with my bestie Inertia. She really has done an amazing job with the landscape, it’s a pleasure to log in here every day.

I have some lovely new things to show you, starting with my outfit by M.BIRDIE. The Daria Look is a gacha set available at The Chapter Four and I’m wearing the rare sweater and one of the little skirts. There are tons of colour options available for both sweater and skirt but the rare sweater comes with the shirt detail and with a hud for both the sweater and the shirt colour.

My boots are by Wicca’s Wardrobe out now for The Secret Affair. I love these a lot, the heel is a great height as I don’t often wear super high ones, these are perfect for casual looks like this and also for fantasy themed outfits. The texturing on these is also fab, they have a nicely worn look to them.

Hairology is still going and Mithral have released the Paprika hair there. This is a lovely shoulder length style with plenty of body. The ends of the hair are very nicely detailed too!

I’m wearing yet another new skin applier from Skin Fair, there really are so many nice ones to choose from now I have a different face every day. This one is the Lien CATWA applier by Bold & Beauty, she has very delicate features which look great on Jessica. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more appliers from this brand.

So everyone is gearing up for Skin Fair, one of the biggest events in the Second Life calendar, who doesn’t love skin shopping, right? I want to give you some more information about the event so you all know whats what.

The event opens on 11th March and will be open until 27th. Each creator will have at least one new and exclusive item out and there will be two whole sims to explore. This year’s sponsors are:

The event will have a low script policy and is PG so prepare yourselves a nice low lag or better yet full alpha outfit for shopping! You’ll find maps of each sim at the bottom of the post so you can plan your routes.

Now, on to today’s look, my skin is by Abaddon Arts and is called Dolly. I’m wearing the Porcelain version here and this one comes with omega appliers, I think she looks great on CATWA’s Jessica. This one is a skin fair preview so you’ll have to wait until the 11th to snap her up, she comes in Goth and Living Dead Girl versions too with two different eyebrow options. You’ll also find my face scratches at Skin Fair by Clemmm along with lip cracks and lippy.

The Arcade is open all month long, I’m wearing some lovely pieces from Tentacio’s Admiral Lenore set, the necklace and pipe. They are such detailed and beautiful pieces, resizable for easy fitting. I think the pipe is my favourite piece, I do love a pipe! The set also includes many colours of corset dress and a leg prosthesis rare which is just amazing!

Just a quick post from me today to showcase a few items from upcoming and newly opened events this month. First of all, Gen-Neutral opens today, its only the second round but already a favourite event of mine. Caboodle has the very dapper Sailor Outfit out with male and female varieties. I really love that the female one is flat chested and I’ve really fallen in love with this whole look. Also at Gen-Neutral are my eyes by S0ng, the Helli eyes come in lots of colours, I’m wearing Moon Eye and I love the way the colour stands out against my dark makeup.

The Epiphany has opened today and there’s tons of gacha goodies to discover there. My hair is the Apple Spice Rare by Besom, a gorgeous, loosely tied style which is long in the back. This is just one item from their Fall Forever gacha set which is well worth checking out. My luxurious fur stole is part of Gabriel’s Gentleman set, I was surprised at how well this fit me as it’s a men’s set, I think it looks fabulous with this outfit.

My killer heels are by CandyDoll and these come in a ton of colours, I’ve gone with good old black for my formal look today. Zenith as usual have come up with a wonderful set called Halloween Dressing, which includes headpieces, dresses and bags among other things. The ring on my umbrella hand is just one very pretty piece of this collection. My Ouija ring is from Reign’s Coven set, which also includes dresses, glasses, totes and of course, shoes!

Another big event coming up this month is TAG! Gacha. I am seriously excited about it as the sets are always amazing at this event. I’m bringing you just a taste of what’s to come with these creepy talons from Cerberus Xing’s Heretic set. Heretic’s other pieces include restraints, nails in your eyes (ouch!) and an awesome choker. I can’t wait to bring you more spooky goodness as we draw closer to opening day.

Simple Pleasures

Just a quick post for you today, I was thrilled and honoured yesterday when the lovely Janire of Belle Epoque asked if I would take some photos for her store. This is the first one I’ve done using her pretty Matilda dress in pink. The dress is a lovely shape and I found it easy to fit with Lara, it comes in two other colours as well so be sure to go and check out the store!

Also a quick mention for The Fantasy Collective which is still going strong, the boat is by Jian and has tintable curtains! There’s a display version which I’ve used here and also a vehicle version. My beautiful face jewelry is by Wicca’s Wardrobe and comes with both a right and left hand version, so pretty! The bracelets are by MINIMAL, I love the simplicity of them, they’re beautiful without being ostentatious.

The outdoor sofa is part of a set by Kalopsia at Kustom 9, the pillows are texture changeable by clicking and come with some lovely colour options. The poses included are really cute and the set comes with some other lovely bits and bobs for decorating your outdoor lounge.

And yes… I’m still loving my Chloe head by Genesis Lab!
