Dreaming Skies

Today I’m wearing the pretty new Mock Strawberry accessory set by Naminoke for The Project Se7en, opening on 30th June. Beautifully detailed as always with head, ankle and wrist accessories for a lovely summery vibe.

Also opening on 30th June is The Crystal Heart Festival where you’ll find these super girly ballet shoes by Cila. I’m in love with these ribbons, they’re so dreamy! These beauties are available in nine colours, I’m wearing the white ones here.

Monso have a new hair out at Uber, called Yuju. Just look at these sweet bunches, and the fringe is amazing.

Sweet Decay

Some lovely new releases to share with you today, starting with this super cute outfit from !gO!, a brand new release at their main store. The outfit comes in three pieces, the dress and necklace (purchased as one item) and the pants purchased separately. There’s lots of pretty colour/pattern combinations to choose from so you can mix and match to your hearts content.

Half-Deer are at Uber this round with the Country Spring set which includes the counter table and chandelier, each available in several colour options. I love the shabby feel of these pieces, and there are matching shelves available too, adorable!

I’m wearing yet another new hair from Blues called Lydia which you can find at Lost & Found. It’s a short event, ending in just a few days so be sure to hurry over there before it’s too late. I love this long, straight style, particularly the blunt ends, it’s such a cute look.

The Fountain

Only one more day to wait for Fantasy Gacha Carnival to open, I’m so excited! Today I’m showing you some pieces from FDD GS Keely set, the rare corset and common skirt in crème. These beauties are made to fit Maitreya so bear that in mind when purchasing. The skirts come in lots of fabulous colour combinations and there are two rare corsets, the one I’m wearing and an underbust one if you want to show off a little bit more skin!

The fountain is by Noble Creations for We Love Roleplay and looks fantastic, it’s resizeable and was actually quite a bit larger than this out of the box. I love the realistic textures and the floating leaves, so pretty. You’ll also find my Spotlight tattoo by White Widow at We Love Roleplay.

The Rescue Mission

She found the overturned carts exactly where the old farmer and his wife had said they would be, what a mess! They had been on their way back from the market town nearby when they had drifted from the path and got wedged between some rocks. Poor Rainbow spent most of that afternoon chasing the cheeky goats which led her a merry dance as she tried to corral them between the cart and some heavy chests and barrels.

By the time she had collected up what she could she decided it was too late to head back so she slung her hammock from a nearby tree and got a fire going. Jace would be arriving soon with the heavy farm horses to retrieve as much as they could from the wreck but that could wait until morning. Most of the foodstuffs had been carried off by animals anyway and judging by the fat and sleepy goats they’d also had more than their fair share.

Rainbow decided that she would have some stern words with the farmer tomorrow about taking to the road so late in the day, the stubborn old fool refused to acknowledge that his eyes weren’t what they once were and she was sure he’d probably fallen asleep in the cart to make this much mess. Still, they were a charming couple and Rainbow did everything she could to help them, remembering the times they’d taken her in, tended her wounds and kept her fed and sheltered.

If you haven’t visited We Love Roleplay this round I shall show you a few good reasons to! This beautiful skirt and corset are Salt & Pepper’s release for the event. The skirt and corset are sold separately with a 25% discount for the duration of the event. The wonderfully detailed corset comes with a hud to change the colour of the flower, leaves and pearls too!

You’ve seen these Moon Elixir boots before in another post but seriously, they are so good! I can’t get enough of these beauties. The necklace is also a new favourite of mine by LAB737, a lovely necklace of wooden discs which comes in Deer, Wolf and plain versions along with a set of textures for decorating the plain version yourself. It’s extremely well made and textured, you will definitely not be disappointed with this one.

The carts, barrel and chest are all part of 22769’s Carts set. The carts themselves come with lots of poses included and each piece is separate so you can make up your own arrangement. You can also find the cute goats at the event, they’re by Jian and come in static and animated versions.

A couple of other pieces to mention, first up is my gorgeous wavy hair, a new release by Moon for Kustom 9. This hair is just perfect for a fantasy look, I’m in love with the loose curls. The hair is all pulled over the shoulders and sits really nicely. I love the varying lengths at the front and the way it rests on my shoulders.

I’m wearing a couple of accessories from Totally Top Shelf to complement my look, the Floral Diadem is by Distorted Dreams and my wolf bracelet is from Bliensen + Maitai’s Royals of the North gacha set. My circlet is by Independent Objects for Fair Play, the Mearwen Circlet.

This month has already been great for events but there’s another one coming up which I’m super excited about, Enchantment is back! Things are being done a bit differently for this round, all event items will be available in one place but there will be hunt items available at the creators stores as well.

The theme for this round is The Little Mermaid, one of my favourite fairytales! I have a preview to show you from The Plastik, the stunning Ursula headdress and bra. There is so much detail in these pieces that I find something new every time I look at them. I love the soft and neutral tones in this set but I’m sure other colours will be available at the event. Just look at all these delicate shells and corals, utterly beautiful I’m sure you’ll agree.

My pose will also be available at Enchantment, part of the Siren series by NRage. These are quality poses with a lot of thought put into them so get your mer-tails ready!

I’m wearing the group gift Sunny head from Genesis Lab with the new Fluture skin applier, Anastasia. I was thrilled to see this works with all the 2.0 heads and it comes in lots of skin tones, I’m wearing Vanilla here as I like being pale. The applier comes with several eyebrow, lipstick and hairbase options as well as freckles and beauty marks which I adore!

My gorgeous hair is by Elikatira at We Love Roleplay, a style that really suits a mermaid look in my opinion, really long down the back with a cute braid over one shoulder at the front.

Last but not least, my beautiful mer-tail is by Mer-chandise Cove whose main store is on our very own Nymphai. Kol kindly helped me out in choosing a tail and the beautiful Sea Mist is just perfect. The tail comes in several colours with add on dorsal and hip fins. It also comes with appliers for Slink and Maitreya so the scaling blends really nicely into the body where the tail joins.

All We Have Is Time

Just a quick post today, work has been horrendously busy. I find second life photography to be a very relaxing hobby but I sometimes struggle for words when my day has been so full.

I want to mention the El Mundo event by Fair Play which opens some time today, for more information on the event you can find the website link under event details below. My pretty dress, belt and flower head band are new releases by Belle Epoque at the event. I love the sleeves on this dress, such an unusual shape. My collar is also from the event by Alegria, I really love this, it’s ornate and shiny!

From The Fantasy Collective I’m showing you the gorgeous Lil’Wolf Hair by (EXE), a new to me brand. I don’t have many short styles but I love how this one falls across my eye and frames my face.

My pose is part of the Angel set by Black Tulip at Oneword which opens today, the theme this round is Angels as I mentioned in a previous post.

Half-Deer has these wonderful rustic animal sculptures at Uber, I’m using the Moose here but there’s also a bear and two-headed bear available. They come in stone and wood versions with two moss options, great garden or forest decor!

The fabulously huge clock is by The Little Branch at Shiny Shabby. It comes in a couple of colour options and is so detailed and beautiful. I love the surround with it’s leafy, viney pattern.

Simple Pleasures

Just a quick post for you today, I was thrilled and honoured yesterday when the lovely Janire of Belle Epoque asked if I would take some photos for her store. This is the first one I’ve done using her pretty Matilda dress in pink. The dress is a lovely shape and I found it easy to fit with Lara, it comes in two other colours as well so be sure to go and check out the store!

Also a quick mention for The Fantasy Collective which is still going strong, the boat is by Jian and has tintable curtains! There’s a display version which I’ve used here and also a vehicle version. My beautiful face jewelry is by Wicca’s Wardrobe and comes with both a right and left hand version, so pretty! The bracelets are by MINIMAL, I love the simplicity of them, they’re beautiful without being ostentatious.

The outdoor sofa is part of a set by Kalopsia at Kustom 9, the pillows are texture changeable by clicking and come with some lovely colour options. The poses included are really cute and the set comes with some other lovely bits and bobs for decorating your outdoor lounge.

And yes… I’m still loving my Chloe head by Genesis Lab!

Thank goodness it’s Friday! I can’t believe how quickly this week has gone but I’m always glad to see the weekend. One thing I really love about Friday is Fifty Linden Friday and this week you can get these really pretty flower string lights by Half-Deer and the lovely toy pony by Vagabond for the bargain price of 50L.

The Annex has a new release at their mainstore, the Ashley dress, a very short windblown style in a super girly broderie anglaise style fabric. The dress comes in lots of lovely pastel tones, I’m sure you will love it!

There’s a new event opening on 1st July called Fair Play, it’s a permanent fantasy themed fair where the designers swap out their items on a regular basis so you will always find something fresh and new while still being able to shop lots of designers in one place. I’m really looking forward to opening day but in the meantime I have a preview to share with you, the cute bird bath by Ginger Line which comes in two versions.

I’m wearing a few accessories today that I’d like to tell you about. My scarf is by MeshedUp for The Fantasy Collective and is the perfect accessory for a daytime summer look, it has a pretty jewelled clasp on one side and comes in a few different colours. I really love this as I think it’s a nice change from necklaces while still being delicate and pretty.

My sandals are by Pure Poison and are also at The Fantasy Collective, they come in Slink and Maitreya versions and are also available in black.

Well, where do I start with this post! so many new and wonderful things to share with you all. First of all, you’ve probably noticed that I’m wearing Genesis Lab’s Chloe head again. She’s available at The Fantasy Collective and I can’t get enough of her! I’m looking forward to seeing some makeups and things released for this one so I can play around with her a bit more.

Also at The Fantasy Collective we have the knockout Elsa bodysuit by Dead Dollz, it has a cute frilly “skirt” bit and lovely belt detail. I’m wearing the black version but it’s available in other colours too, I found it to be really easy to fit with the Maitreya body.

Again at The Fantasy Collective you’ll find these amazing fish, part of the Floating Boat set by 22769, they’re animated and are also available in Copper or a mixture of the two tones.

My hair is Alcahest by Mithral Apothecary for Kustom 9. I showed you their other new release a few posts ago. This hair is really soft and pretty with gentle waves. Much like the other style it goes down the back as well as over the shoulders and I particularly like the slight curl on the ends of this hair.

We ❤ Roleplay closes on 30th June so you don’t have long left to pick up all the goodies at a discounted price. The paving stones are by Stormwood and they are excellent quality. They come in Roman (shown here) and Tuscan, many different patterns and sizes and all have a grass option if you like the untended look. I’m making a kind of overgrown patio area at home with these at the moment and I can tell you they look fab!

The banner and candles are part of the Old World Celebration set by Jian and as usual from this creator they are excellent quality. The set includes lots of other pieces including a banquet table and chairs so be sure to check it out. Most pieces are colour changeable so they’ll work in lots of settings.

Last but not least there’s a wonderful selection of Solar Eclipse themed stuff at the current round of IDK. My shoes are by Harajuku, because they cover the ankle and they’re unrigged I had no problem wearing them with the Maitreya body by detaching the feet. The bag is by United Colors, it’s a satchel type bag with a pretty stud pattern on the front. The two odd pillows are by Brixley, there’s also another in the set.
