Here we go 2 months later. What a crazy time the summer always is. I love it, but I always feel like a chicken minus a head.
One of the highlights of the last month was heading out to ATL. What a BEAUTIFUL place!!! We spent one day there and then spent another week in Alabama at Lake Eufala. Hello-- DREAMY! It was heaven...lots of warm water, ski boat and all of my family PLUS great food. Couldn't have been better. Except for maybe if the ski boat wouldn't have broke halfway through.
After 48 hours in airports/dingy hotels and having to wash our clothes out in sinks and wearing them wet on the plane (Robbie had a blowout) paying 60 bucks for a cab driver that was 5 years younger than us (we were his first "clientele"), etc, etc--we did make it home--exhausted and determined to NEVER, EVER have anything but a direct flight.
Two more highlights, Curt got engaged on Saturday and can't get out of the clouds. Normal and good. Lindsay is cool and we can't wait to get to know her better. here they are in atlanta at Olympic park. we all went to listen to Ruben Stoddard and see an A-MAZING fireworks show.
Syd, Ty and Ash just showed up on our doorstep a week ago from Houston. We've been playing all over Utah county and loving every minute of our time with them.
