“Gratitude is when memory is stored in the heart and not in the mind.” ~ Lionel Hampton
Life is to give out liberally.
It is not a reciprocal take strictly.
Live without any expectations nearly.
Life is beautiful with tremendous potentiality.
A child is a gift of God.
She has to grow up with a nod.
It is her life be it odd.
The way to live is her prod.
It is the parental duty to bring her up .
Affection and discipline make her reach high up.
Tending to her is an interesting close up.
No more should be expected than this one up.
Be that with your children more so.
The same holds good with your parents also.
It should be the principle in your life ever so.
Expecting nothing from anybody for whatever so.
Content is King goes the saying generally.
It is for a different context say you smilingly.
To me it is contentment that precedes others normally.
It is a special enthusiasm…

I will dance
spin, move with
grace and joy.
My softness speaks,
eyes do shine, my
womb brings forth
life filled with promise.
I am woman,
strong and proud,
no one can harness my soul.
I am woman,
filled with love
and light that
makes me invincible,
yet I am able to fill
the world with compassion,
to heal what has left this
land wounded, to sow seeds of the
new world where we are one
manifesting beauty and love.

Dear Internet,
I know I did you wrong. Neglected your knowledge and ever-expanding wisdom. I even forgot
about you for a while (imagine!).
And later I tried hiding, so you wouldn’t find me.
Being all silly and stuff, I realise now.
And I’m sorry. Deeply, heart-broken sorry.
It wasn’t about you; I was crazy.
I loved you, you know. And I still do.
Honestly, from this moment on and until end of time. We did good together, remember?
We found some amazing people ’round here.
People who would discuss philosophy, kittenz and llamas. That’s like basic needs, right?
The thing is,
I’ve got this tiny favour to ask of you:
Would you mind making me become a photographer again?
You taught me all I knew, but somehow I got lost along the way. Then you tried to teach me again, and I ran away. – Can’t remember how I did…

This poem is a homage to love and Leonard Cohen – the muse brushed me as I was listening to “Dance Me To The End of Love” – Craig posted a link to the song, I listened transported. The link is here
Violins burn
with a flame of pure love,
a true wedding
he gazes at her;
an exquisite longing
quilts all who partake
into a love that swirls
from the edges of time,
rising from ashes
of imploded worlds
in flames green, orange , violet,
naked hands stroking,
touch palm to palm
with quivering smiles
and tender eyes
blinking back tears,
longing, wanting to drown
in wild gypsy flames
dancing on steppes
swallowed by sky
spiralling starlight
crowning the moon,
and the singer sings
lala lala la lala lala la
and the chorus joins in
cradling our souls…
When we were kids my brother used me as his model for his photos, (there was no one else to do it!), and the black and white ones were always my favorites; there was a kind of mystic to them, a whisper of mystery, the subtle shadow that changed the whole image, and of course haven’t you noticed we always look better in black and white?!

“A cause may be inconvenient, but it’s magnificent. It’s like champagne or high heels, and one must be prepared to suffer for it.”
– Arnold Bennett
