Logan and Amy

We are watching my aunt and uncles dog Amy. I had left the slider open so she could go in and out. I was upstairs and Logan comes running in my room, "I can't find Amy!", "She is gone, help me find her." So we went outside and Amy was asleep on top of all my laundry from vacation. Logan tells me that he is going to sleep outside with Amy. I tell him ok, thinking this won't last. Rich comes home and tells me to come outside. Logan is asleep with Amy.
When we first went out Logan was asleep with this crate over his head. I have no idea why, we took it off, took our pictures and put Logan to bed in his room.

Carpenteria Beach

We spent the last week and a half (June 20-June 29) at Carpenteria Beach camping, and hoteling with friends and family. We had a great time. Here is Bill, Ben, Rich and Brent posing for the camera.

Everyday someone dug a hole for the kids to play in. They would often had mud fights. Here is Logan with his cousin Brent.

My muddy Logan!

Grandma Shelly came up for a couple of days. Here is Sadie and grandma roasting marshmallows.

The kids had fun flying kites.

The boys loved the water. The waves are perfect here they are not too big and there isn't a rip current. Blake had fun going out far with his cousins. I was fun watching him out their diving head first into the waves.

Logan loved playing in the water. He has been afraid of the beach water, but Rich took him out and got him comfortable with it.

It was funny everyday Logan would crawl under his towel and fall asleep. The kids played so much they slept so good.

Sadie, Julie, Blake, and Logan eating smores! Yummy!

Bryson and Sadie. Sadie's cousins are so good with her. It was so cute Bryson was pulling Sadie around on the boogie board.

Between our campsite and the beach there were some bushes that the kids loved to play in. They would play army and crawl around their fort.

We had a great time. This was Sadie's first camping trip and she did great. As fun as it was it was nice to get home, but not looking forward to all the laundry.

Logan's Birthday Party

Today Logan turned 4.

Logan is our quite boy who loves playing with his cars and trains. He is content staying at home, but loves playing with his friends especially Jax. He loves letters and pointing them out wherever we go.

Since we are camping we had a party with all our family and friends that we with us. We had a pirate party. The kids started out by making pirate hats. They did such a great job decorating them and I was surprised that they actually wore them.

Logan not so much into his party, off playing with something else.

Aunt Olga had her ipod and played music from Pirate of the Caribbean during the treasure hunt and party.

Digging up the treasure chest in the sand.

In the treasure chest was a pinata and goody bags.
