10 Months Old

We love this girl and can't imagine our lives without her. Kendall turned 10 months old yesterday. She's taken a few steps here and there but still doesn't have the confidence to walk alone. Of course, when she has the security of her activity walker she's nearly running across the room. Kendall has such a good sense of humor and makes some silly faces. She just started standing on her head as if to do a somersault. Kendall has even figured out how to go down the stairs feet first. We're working on transitioning to table foods and she's doing really well for having no teeth. Kendall we love you so much!

Kendall is 9 Months Old and a Trip to Orlando

Kendall turned 9 months old on February 22 while we were in Orlando. Kendall had such a great time at Disney World taking in all the sights. It really interfered with her naps and made her especially clingy to mom. We also went to Kennedy Space Center and took an air boat ride. I don't think it's a trip I can do to often....it's exhausting. We also had the wonderful company of Mom, Dad, Alisa, Jacob, Alan's family, and Aaron's family.

Kendall also had a checkup last Monday. She weighed in at 16lbs 9oz (10%) and 28 inches long (60%). Poor girl has been suffering from a cold all week and luckily the doctor said there were no signs of ear infection or RSV. We did learn that Kendall is slightly anemic and will need to take iron drops while eating more iron enriched foods. Still no teeth but she's sure gnawing on everything.

Kendall has taken a few steps but not really walking in my opinion. Daddy said she officially walked on February 7th during the Super Bowl. Kendall is so efficient at crawling and climbing. She would rather climb than take the longer, easier route. I guess this is a good quality to have....the road less traveled.

We love Kendall so much. She is such a sweet girl and so happy and funny. I can't believe we'll be celebrating her first birthday in a few more months.
