Yesterday (Monday) we got into a kind of scary car accident. Someone ran a red light and hit us and even though it was scary and we still have a long road ahead to figure out a car situation, we feel so grateful for the protection the we've recieved. This has definately allowed us to reflect on our lives and realize the blessing that we have. We are both okay and the baby is doing good as well. We are just recovering from very sore muscles. We just wanted everyone to know how grateful we are for your friendship.
We had SO much fun on our family vacation. We started off going to Idaho for my family reunion. It was so great to see all of our family and for Zach to finally meet some of my extended family.
While in Idaho my feet got so swollen. WOW! What a new experience. I've had sprained ankles that were swollen, but nothing could prepare us for the pregnancy swell. I'll have to admit after a few days of swellen ankles, it was quite refreshing to see my ankles after a little bit.
After a few days in Idaho we headed up to Washington to go to Roche Harbor, a resort in the San Juan Islands. This was my first time going on a ferry and it was really pretty fun. It was a nice temperature change to be by the water as well.
While on the island we got to visit a Lavendar Farm. It was so beautiful and I am convinced that whenever we have our own home that we will have Lavendar so we can smell that sweet scent.
