ENJOY!!

HAWAII!!!!

We just got back from Hawaii today and we already miss it. We were trying to think of our favorite part of Hawaii and honestly it was hard to think of one thing. I think for me it may have been just hanging out on the beach. I read a book, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli (I recommend it), swam, talked, napped, it was so relaxing. We had SO much fun. Zach had been to Hawaii before, but this was a first for Elle and me. It was fun to be there with family and are grateful for the chance to get to go!!

We spent as much time as possible at the beach that we could. Surprisingly, Elle didn't seem to mind the salt water, she was just happy to be swimming.

We went to this amazing shrimp shack, Giovanni's (I would highly recommend if you're visiting), it looks a little sketchy, but the shrimp was SO good. We went twice!

This my friend is where I ate one of the best shaved ice I have ever eaten. They put ice cream in the shaved ice and WOW was it good. Good enough to go twice as well (I tried to convince everyone for a third, but we were short on time)

We went on two snorkeling adventures. The first we took a boat out to a reef and saw some amazing fish. We were about five feet away from a shark. Zach was fast enough to swim with some dolphins for a little bit.

We went to Pearl Harbor, but forgot our camera with the stroller. It was so amazing to learn more about what happened there. As we were leaving, Elle got a Jr. Park Ranger badge...she's official

This was our view from our balcony. This beach is where we spent majority of our beach time.

We had such a great time. Elle was such a great traveler. We have fallen in love with these sandy beaches and tropical climate. I loved being able to spend time together and not having to worry about anything else. We look forward to going back soon!
