and their TeeVee schill partners

carry on their blank beliefs

“I Have Virgin Eyes”

i have virgin eyes for ugly

always have and i suspect always will

some scenes have discomfited me

and more have caused my knees to cover

those precious eyes when the villain appears

(but usually the music gives me warn

so i popcorn-dive before i cringe

and sometimes i confess to peeking

between safety fingers or spreading knees
