Random Photos in September

Here are a few fun pictures to finish off the month of September...
Tyler in the kitchen sink with that "melt your heart grin".

Tyler loves to find money and put it in his piggy bank.

We finally upgraded the family truck situation. We went from a great Ford Ranger to this F-150 red beauty. We are not fond of having a truck payment, but the family could not fit in the ranger any longer. So here's to us traveling in compfort!

Tyler found his Dad's coyote call and had to try it out.

Apple Fest 2009

Once again, Tyler and I went to Fillmore to participated in the annual Apple Fest. This has been a tradition for Tyler and I and we look forward to it again next year. This is such a great event...all proceeds from each year's Apple Fest are donated to Primary Children's Medical Center towards something special; whether it's something the hospital is in need of or to help a family(s) who are in need of financial help for medical bills. Job well done Marcae...you are great!

Here we are after finishing the 10K.

Making History

South central Utah residents, including Russ and Tyler made history as they rode into the record books. This week was not only the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree, but it was also an atttempt to break the world's record for the largest ATV parade. Initial counts place the number of ATV in the parade at just over 2,000, breaking the record by more than 375 bikes. It was so much fun to watch Russ and Tyler be part of this great event.

The view of all the ATV's lined up was overwhelming...ATV's lined the roads for as far as you could see, in all directions...they were everywhere!

I finally found Russ and Tyler, we took a picture and then I left to go find a place on main street so I could watch my boys in the parade.

There they are...number 1014!

Tyler was in total amazement at all the ATV's and their noise! It was a very fun evening in Richfield!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day weekend was fun filled with both sides of our family!

It all began up Kanosh Canyon with the Ivie family. Here are few pictures from the Ivie Camp out...

Tyler found his dump truck and hauled a lot of dirt around the camp.

Look at our precious little man...no wet wipe will ever clean this kid up!

Tyler decided to take his roll and eat it next to Reno...my two boys are best pals!

Tyler adores his older cousins. They are a lot of fun and oh so good to him. Tyler insisted that each of them go down to the creek to throw rock with him...and they did!

Tyler fell asleep on uncle Ed's lap while we were on our four wheeler ride. And then he rode in the back of uncle Tim's UTV with Tenniel on the way back to camp.

Here we are after our very dusty four wheeler ride.

This is Reno towards the end of our stay. Filthy dirty and completely worn out!

We had a great time, and enjoyed every one's company. Thank you so much for a fantastic two days...memories were definitely made! We can't wait to go again!

Following our camp out with the Ivie's, we went home to clean up and get some rest. The next day, we went to Holden to see the Larsen family. Here are few pictures from our day in Holden...
Grandma Larsen took all the kids up to the park to play. This was a great energy burner!

Here's our sweet little boy playing in the dirt...not surprising!

And here we are with grandma and our kids...Maben and Dad are taking the picture!

After the kids played we went back to the house to help grandpa with a special project...pulling puncher weeds.

We had a wonderful day in Holden and it was fun to see everyone...let's do it again!

Fish Lake

Today after church, I decided to take Tyler and Reno up to Fish Lake to run around and enjoy the outdoors for a while. We packed a lunch and off we went.
Once we arrived, my two little boys were running around as fast as their little legs would go. Tyler enjoyed throwing rocks into the water, and Reno tried very hard to catch the tide as it came in

Next we walked over to Twin Creeks and crossed the bridge. Tyler thought that was great fun. He had to go over it time and time again. Reno enjoyed drinking from the crisp water.

Next we sat under the pavilion and had a little snack. Tyler would watch the squirrels and laugh with excitement. Reno patiently waited for any crumbs to fall in his direction.

Me and my boys at Fish Lake!

We are so blessed to have many good friends in our lives. Tyler adores them all...young and old! Thank you for being so good to our little man!

Larsen Family Campout

This year's camp out was up to the family cabin.

Here we are on top of the mountain.

This is Tyler getting ready for his first camp out in the tent. Shortly after this picture was taken, we had the longest night of our life. As soon as the lights went out Tyler became completely miserable with his molars trying to come in. Nobody slept that night including the coyotes!

Having some cousin fun.

Tyler's Shoe Fetish

Tyler has a thing for shoes! He loves to wear any shoe he can find and here's proof...

Pioneer Day in Holden

Tyler and I went over to Holden to participate in the Pioneer Day festivities. We had such a great time! We saw a lot of family and friends that we hadn't seen in a very long time.

This year for the parade, families were encouraged to participate...and that's just what the Larsen family did. Here is Grandpa and Grandma Larsen on the back of the truck leading the float.

Here's the rest of the clan in the manure spreader...get it..."spreading the gospel"!

Today Tyler helped his Dad pack for a two week fire assignment. Please be careful Russ and come home safe to your family! We love you and we are going to miss you--please be safe!

Shoot Gun

Tyler is quick to point out the "big bucks" that reside in a painting that hangs on our wall, and he knows what a gun is and what one sounds like. This morning, I walked into the family room and found Tyler very serious and ready to go on a hunt.

Tyler spots an animal and is quick to point it out...

Next, he gets into his stance...

Now, it's time to load the bullet into the gun...

Finally, it's time to "shoot" the "big bucks"!

Reno is just glad he's not on the receiving end of the bullet this go around!

Ute Stampede Rodeo

Once again, the family gatherd in Nephi to enjoy another evening at the Ute Stampede Rodeo.

Here's our little cowboy ready for the rodeo.

Prior to the rodeo, Tyler and Mom went for a ride on the carousel.

Here's we are in our seats.

Here's Tyler wishing he could get out in the arena.

We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again next year!
