March and April

I guess it has been awhile since I blogged about our everyday things.
Richard got me some stickers for our car that represents our family, I think they are pretty cute!!
This is not the best pic, but I was trying to get Livi doing something I used to do all the time when I was little...walking on her toes.
Easton turned 6, where does the time go? We went to a movie and had a fun day spending it with family.
The sneaky leprechaun came to our house, he left foot prints everywhere

I thought it would be fun to do an April Fools dinner, I think the kids might be too young for this one :-) Easton didn't really go with the flow.
We had Cupcakes (meatloaf) and Ice Cream (mashed potatoes) for Dinner
and eggs (ice cream) for dessert
 Alivia turned 4!!
Easter Sunday...Livi doesn't look too happy in this pic
 Easter at the Trumps
 Easter at the Koon's
I don't think I have mentioned yet...My brother and sister-in-law are expecting their first child in August!! and it's a GIRL, I am so excited for them.
I am not sure what I do on a day to day basis but my days go by way too fast.

Happy Birthday Alivia!!

Happy Birthday Alivia!!
She turned 4 today and I have no idea where this little baby went.
This was on her blessing day so she was roughly 3 months old
This was taken a couple of months ago, it was bright that day so she is squinting in all the pics.
She is a funny little girl. She says the cutest and most random things. She is already giving me too much attitude, but is too cute to get mad at.
We love her so much and I am very grateful for our blue eyed baby girl.

Happy Birthday Easton!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EASTON!
Wow I can't believe our baby boy is 6 today. Really where does the time go? He has grown up so much just in the last year...
This was taken last year around the same time.
We were going through pictures for him to take to school, and I found this one. This was taken at the hospital the day we left.
It is so much fun to watch the kids grow, and learn everyday. He makes me laugh all the time, he is so sweet and thoughtful. We are grateful for the little boy we have and I we love him so much.

Valentines

Did everyone have a fun Valentines day?
We didn't do too much, the kids woke up and found their present from us. We got them both an umbrella, and some M&M's. They have been asking for umbrellas but we will see if they use them :-)
So I had a thought the day before....We should get some rabbits. That is exactly what we did. I found them on KSL and the kids and I went and got them in the afternoon.
Here is Easton's
 Here is Alivia's
Did you know you can house train your rabbits to go in a litter box? That is why I thought it would be fun to have them, they will be inside pets. If anyone has done this let me know, I am still trying to figure it out.
I don't know why I get an idea and have to do it :-) oh well, they are actually cuter then I thought they would be. They hop around everywhere and are curious little rabbits.

Not again...

Let me tell you a story...
Alivia came down to me as I was doing dishes and said "Mom I didn't like my hair so I cut it" I turned the water off and said "what" meanwhile behind her Richard was laughing and had to leave the kitchen so I didn't laugh too. She said it again "I didn't like my hair so I cut it, Dad said I was in big trouble" "It is in the toilet so there is not a mess" as if that makes it okay to do it.
Her hair was cute and curly that day so I hadn't noticed she did anything to it.
Richard told me to come upstairs and this is what I saw...
Scissors on the toilet
Hair in the toilet, sorry for a pic of the toilet :-) (remember since it was in here it was okay she did it since she didn't make a mess)
Here is the chunk she cut plus she cut a few little pieces in the back. She showed me exactly how she did it too.
Here she is before I cut all of her hair to match
Here she is after, I am pretty sure I cut about 6 inches off!!
She thinks she looks pretty cute like this, well she does but I am still not happy with her.
The best part was I had told her earlier that if she cut her hair again I was going to shave it off and make it look like Dad's. When I was cutting it she told me she wanted it to look like Dad's, that is not an option it was supposed to be threat. Will I ever get through to her that she is not supposed to cut her hair? This would be the third time she has done this, maybe more and I just never knew.

Family

I have had a few people ask me what my favorite part was about our vacation and I honestly would have to say...Spending time with these people :-)
I love my family so much. I love that we get along so well and make each other laugh when we are all together. So my final answer would be...spending time with the family, no matter where we go we have fun together.
This was our first vacation without Riley and everyone always said the firsts of everything will be hard, I think that everything will always be hard without him. We missed him and thought of him often while we were there.
I am very grateful for the family that I have.

Easton

We are so proud of Easton!!
We had our parent teacher conference last night. All of his percentages were higher (double) then the bench mark, and his computer testing showed him on the 1st grade level. I had to brag about him :-) Who knew we had a smart boy on of our hands.
We love Easton so much, he makes us laugh and is the sweetest boy.
We took him out for a treat since he does so good in school.

Vacation!!

We just got home from a 7 day cruise. It was so much fun, I love being with my family. I tried not to do a picture overload so I only picked a few pics. Plus a lot of them are scenic views.

Here we are the first day on the ship.

Our first taxi...We are in St.Thomas/St. John. Our port was St. Thomas but we made our way over to St. John...

So we could see one of the top beaches in the world. Trunk Bay. It was beautiful, and I am not a fan of the ocean but I got in :-) blue clear water.
 Our dining table

Richard and Brandon did Karaoke!! They sang I like big butts, it took them a while to decide to do it but I think they had fun.

Okay so I don't have any pics of the next ports that I liked so I will just tell you where we went. We went to Barbados and St. Lucia. In Barbados we saw turtles as we were snorkeling, creeps me out a little bit but it was cool. St. Lucia was pretty the boys did a zip line that I now wish I would have done.
This is how most of the shopping looked like that we did.
 St. Kitts rain forest
St. Marteen/Martin was a cool Island. It is split in French and Dutch I found it interesting.
This is where the airport is on St. Marteen. I took a video of it landing.

 On the ship having fun.
Every where was really beautiful. We did a lot of sight seeing which I like, and learned a lot. I would have to say my favorite Islands were St. Lucia and St. Marteen. I hope to go back some day, and enjoy the Islands in different ways. Your day goes by so fast you don't have time to do everything you want to.
We have the best neighbors who took our kids while we were gone. I am so grateful for the wonderful people in my life, family and friends.

Alivia hair

So I watched a video on how to do a no heat curl with a head band.
Here... http://thepapermama.com/2011/07/hair-tutorial-no-heat-curl-html.html
and wanted to try it so here is Livi when I first put the head band in and wrapped the hair.

Here is what it looked like when she woke up today
When I first took it our

Then I tried to separate them a little more.

The front came out pretty curly and the back not so much. I will try again, I think I will start with the back so I can get it tighter. I am sure it will be pulled up in the next little while so it's not so much curl around her face. Over all I am surprised that it worked, even if it didn't turn out how I thought it would. Next time if it turns out better I will let you know :-)
