🤔 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗔𝗜: "𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲, 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝟭𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀?" His answer (yes, mine is a "he" - Alfred 😄) was a confident TL;DR: "No, because your role is focused on creating connections and being a trust anchor." Phew, I was relieved. 😅 Spending the past few days meeting some of our long-term US customers for the first time in person reconfirmed exactly that. The technology, no matter how good, only gets a project across the finish line when it's built on a foundation of transparency and integrity. Without trust, no amount of AI or engineering can close the gap. As much as I like remote working, some things don't travel well over a call. A handshake, a real conversation over lunch, the kind of candid exchange that only happens when you're in the same room. I believe that's an important part of how long term trust gets built. 🤝 Great to finally meet part of the Embr Labs team in person - Heather, Matthew & nice seeing you again, Elizabeth! A strong start to the US trip for our CEO, Cristin Iosif 🇺🇸 New York and Boston down, next up: Portland, LA and San Francisco — with more meetings and connections ahead.
I've been trying to become a 5AM CEO for the past few years. Turns out all it took was a flight to the US and a solid dose of jet lag. 😄 Spent the weekend in New York. Already energized for the weeks ahead. Now in Boston, looking forward to meeting some of our long-term US customers and making some new connections along the way. 👉 Next stops: Portland, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. If you're around any of these cities, happy to meet up.
