Ok, so she’s not exactly touring heavily around the US, but she is going up and down the West Coast (lucky…you get all the good shows). Extra Lucky: she’s probably playing songs off her second album released this year, Lynn Teeter Flower. Maria, if you see this, come back to the East Coast!
New song loaded on The Like MySpace that we think is pretty fan-fablous. Check out
Word on the Keren Ann blog is she’s hitting The States in Feb. of next year. No dates announced yet, but you know Rockher will tell you as soon as we find out!
It’s hard to imagine it’s been six years since the fall of the World Trade Center buildings, Pentagon, and Pennsylvania plane crash of September 11th, 2001. Today, we’d like to remember those lost in the terrorist attacks, the families that have suffured, and a nation that’s torn over this tremendous act of hatred by showing Sheryl Crow’s moving performance of “Safe and Sound” at the 9/11 telathon. Whatever your political beliefs may be, we’d like to encourage each and every one of you to take a moment and remember what happend to our country only a short while ago.

The summer festival season is nearing a close, but not without a GALANG after indie Sri Lankan hip-hopper M.I.A. got kicked off stage at Scottland’s 2007 Connect Festival this past weekend, and thanks to YouTube, we’ve got footage!
