This Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible is a single-action revolver with the time-honored features of the original Blackhawk plus the added option to convert the caliber using a different size cylinder. This can be accomplished easily and without the use of tools. Solidly built with a cold hammer-forged barrel, the Blackhawk Convertible features a traditional, western-style grip, long-revered for comfort, while ramp front and adjustable rear sights aid in accurate shooting. For added safety, Ruger’s patented transfer-bar design helps guard against accidental discharges. This American-made revolver is a versatile handgun useful during big game hunts and other outdoor adventures.
This model is chambered in .357 Magnum and comes with an additional 9mm cylinder. Each cylinder has a 6-shot capacity.
