Or not, depending on my mood
After all the drama of Storm Amy battering us all into submission last weekend with torrential rain and gale force winds, we were extremely appreciative of the beautiful weather this weekend brought.
So yesterday afternoon we went for a very enjoyable long leisurely walk along the canal in the surprisingly warm sunshine, enjoying the blue skies and even bluer water – I didn’t even take a coat! 🙂

Having already come down though five locks and four swing bridges since reaching Inverness (three road bridges and one small rail bridge), these two pleasure craft are now on the last leg of the Caledonian Canal, having only one more lock to negotiate before meeting the sea 🙂
