Ok, so I changed my mind...

I started thinking about the name of my business and I think I am going to change the name again. As much as I love my little girl, I don't want all the other kids that we have feel left out. So I don't think I will name my business after Kryah. (Thank all of you that have taken the time to vote on my poll I really appreciate the support!)

Now, you might think that the only letter in my Alphabet is "K" but I assure that it is purely coincidence. I think I am going to call my business "Kinder Keepsakes." (Kinder means: child (in German) i.e.- "kindergarten".) Do you like that?



While you mull that over in your minds I'll post a few cute pictures of Kyrah :)

Despite the way that she really is (because of course she is such a little angel)...this picture makes Kyrah look like a little "devil" child! lol!

Ok...so Ryan was brushing his teeth with his electric toothbrush and Kyrah wanted to brush her teeth too. So she grabbed it and stuck the opposite end in her mouth and I think she really liked the vibrating feeling on her gums. It was sooo funny!

There is part of the tray that is missing on her bumbo seat. (The part that keeps the tray attached to the seat). So Kyrah can just push up with her feet and get the tray to pop off and she loves to play peek-a-boo with the tray. It is soo cute! :)

Utah Trip

We all went down to Utah this past week. It was so much fun! Kyrah was great and got see a bunch of extended family. We got to see Grandma and Grandpa Dayton, and a bunch of the Dayton side of the family. We also got to see Grandma Bullock and her great Uncle Dwayne. Such a happy baby :) Enjoy the pictures :)

So I was thinking...

About starting my own buisness having to do with sewing/making baby things. For example : sewing baby clothes, blessing dresses/suits, sleepers, bibs, fleece jackets, hats and booties, shirst etc. and making little bracelts for little girls, making little "lovie" animal blankets, boppys, bows etc.). Anyway, I just wanted to get a little bit of feedback from you to see what you think. Do you think that it would work? Any tips you can give me on how to make it good? Or even just what you think of the idea would be great. We need the extra income but I don't want to be working just a regular job. I want to be doing something that I enjoy (and already do) and make money from it! You know what I mean? Anyway, let me know what you think...thanks in advance :)

Yay!! Grad School here we come!

So I know that I usually only post stuff about the baby, but that is because nothing real spectacular goes on in our lives besides the baby. Well...yesterday all that changed! Ryan got an acceptance letter to one of the schools he applied too!! It's called East Stroudsburg University. It's a little school in Pennsylvania. We are still waiting to hear back from two other schools, but now we don't have to worry because if he doesn't get in anywhere else he will be able to go there! We will most likley go to East Stroudsburg even if he does get accepted to the other schools though. We are really excited about finally knowing where we are going! (Well, I am...lol...I was really anxious about it...Ryan is excited though!) We are going to be living about 3 hours from my family so needless to say they are way excited :) Anyway, I know that we still have to hear back from the other two schools...but I hope we go to PA! Wish us luck! :) I am so proud of my wonderful husband and his hard work! He is amazing! Good job honey I am so proud of you!

6 Months Old!

Wow! How time flies when you are having so much fun! Kyrah is now officially 6 months old! I can't believe it! She has so much personality for such a little person. She loves other little babies and kids and will just watch them smile all the time. She is funny like that. She when she gets really tired she will burry her head into her little puppy blanket that I made for her. That puppy is her best friend! It goes everywhere with her :) She loves it! Let's see, she loves those little baby rings and she will put them in her mouth and rub them against her gums and they make a squeeky noise. She will do this for hours and never get bored. She does the same thing with her binki. Even though she is still breastfeeding we started her on solid foods. She has now eaten rice cereal (which we started at 5 months), and now she also eats green beans, peas and carrots. I think she likes the peas the best which surprised me. We are going to give her juice tonight so I'm sure she'll like that! :)

Weight: 12 lbs 10 oz (5th percentile)
Height: 25.5 inches long (45th percentile)
