Day at the Ranch

A fun day at the Ranch

We had such a great time at the ranch last week. Grandpa stayed busy helping everyone ride the horses. Ally got to ride all by herself.

San Clemente

We went to the beach in San Clemente with Erin and Ryan Webber on Memorial Day. Jaeden and Reagan dug a serious hole that Trey ended up wanting to sit in.

Some Disneyland

The Autopia cars are still too hard for the kids to drive without help I guess. Ally and Sadie started out on their own, and I ran to the end with Lucy to get a better picture of them. When they came around the corner, there was a random guy in the car with them. I guess he rescued them from holding up the ride.

We didn't get too many pictures at Disneyland, but here are a few. Ally was still on crutches at Disneyland from her really bad ankle sprain one week before our trip. We borrowed a wheelchair and were able to get around fine. All of the kids were so good. Lucy only had a tiny little nap during "It's a small world" and that was it all day. She was an angel. Lucy and Reagan both fell asleep on me right before the fireworks show at 9:30. It was a very tiring but very fun day.

Lucy knows all about looking at the camera and smiling. She loved the sand and the water and wasn't afraid to get wet and dirty. She ate some sand, and it was all over in her swimsuit and diaper. Ally, Sadie, and Reagan like to bury themselves whenever they go to the beach.

A Day in Oceanside

After lunch we played on the beach in Oceanside for a couple of hours until time to catch the train again.

We just had lunch at Ruby's -- hamburgers, french fries, and a milkshake. We watched someone catch a 2 foot shark right off the pier and throw it back. It was a great day. (That little Lucy with outstretched arms is hard to resist.)

We are at the San Juan Capistrano Amtrak Station. The train is arriving to take us to Oceanside. It was a 30 minute ride along the coast. It was a fun birthday excursion.
