Good Day

I have to say, I really am blessed when it comes to some of my friends. As I’m writing this my face is hurting from laughing so hard. I’ve been laughing so hard that I feel sorta drunk. Mind you, I messed up my meds the past few days, so that could be part of it. Regardless, it’s been a crazy whirlwind day, but aside from literally waking myself up shaking, it was a good day.

Dark Desire

Fading Away

Sometimes aging feels like I’m fading away into irrelevance. As sweet as some of these guys in their 20s seem to be in SL, I just cannot get over the vast age difference. I know it’s Second Life and we’re just avatars and age shouldn’t matter. Maybe it’s the age that I’m turning in October that has me out of sorts. All I know is that I find myself refusing to settle for less than I desire, which leaves me alone a great deal of the time. While, I never get bored, I do get lonely. There’s something weird that happens when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you’ve already lived over half of you life and the odds of ever falling in love again are slim to none. Time takes on a new meaning and rushes by in an instant, even when it feels like its sitting still and the entire words is frozen in place.
