Halloween

Halloween never meant very much to me, but now that I worked with kids we were encouraged to dress up and have fun with the holiday. Jenny's work did characters from the movie Shrek and she let me borrow her Puss and Boots costume that she made. It was oddly fun to dress up, but I didn't want anyone to see me. I still thought it was weird. I wouldn't even turn around to get caught in the act. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun.

Bridals

My cousin Erin's husband is a photographer and was able to take our Wedding pictures. He started off with my Bridals. Mom and I made a weekend out of it. We first went to Karen's bridal shower that her side of the family was throwing. Then once that was over Karen did my hair. After she was done we headed to Orem to go pick up Grandma.

Once we got Grandma we headed to the Riverwoods. I thought it was some fancy place and was surprised when I got there to find out that it was an outdoor mall. It beautiful landscaping and I could see why he suggested it. Next store to the mall was their river walk which also made a nice place to take pictures. When all was said and done, I was really excited to see the end results.  

When we were done we headed back to Grandmas place to have dinner and stay the night. We even planned to go to church with her in the morning.

Bridal Shower

Since both Karen and I were marrying Sagez (Venable) boys within a week of each other, the Venable side decided to throw us a double bridal shower. I don't remember much about what happened at the shower, but it looked like we had fun.

Engagements

We finally nailed down a date for our wedding, November 18th. That didn't really give us a lot of time for things. We had to jump quickly on the first day available to get our engagements done so we could send out invitations. It was later than we were hoping, but we were able to get them done and they turned out great. The first 4 are the ones we picked to put on our invitations.
