Hospital visitors

I'm not sure why I didn't blog these pictures, but here are the visitors she had at the hospital. I felt bad when I found out that some of them had actually came, but I was so out of it that I didn't even know that they had come and gone. Ben didn't want to wake me and didn't want to turn anyone away.

Gabbi's Birth

On April 22, 2008, my due date, we went in to see my doctor. We were hoping for good news and that is what we got. She told me that because my blood pressure was to high she was going to start me that day. That was exactly what I wanted to hear. I was ready to be done. So she called and set it up for us to check into the hospital that night at 8:00 p.m. So we checked in and got set up with all the machines and got things on the rode. Things progressed quickly and we were excited to say hello to our new daughter at 5:11 a.m April 23, 2008. Way to early because there was no sleep that night, but we were very excited to see Gabbi. She weighed 6 lb 14 oz and was 20 in long.

She is beautiful. Ben had a blast and I was tired, but it was all worth it. She had lots of visitors at the hospital and everyone just loved her. We were excited to come home, but at the same time we were very scared. We weren't sure if we could handle it without all the nurses help. But with close family and Friends, (my mom, ex-specially) we knew we would be okay and things have been great. Gabbi is now 2 months old and we are loving every minute of it. Ex-specially now that she is sleeping through the night. She is a gem and smiles all the time. We love her.
