Birthday Buddies

Nelson and Brian have the same birthday, it makes it really fun to celebrate. This year Nelson turned the big 50. We tried to do a surprise lunch for his birthday. We went to Chuck a Rama, one of his favorite place to eat. Not sure if we surprised him, but it was fun to get together. One of the best parts of the lunch was when Ellie tried to crab the cake that was in front of Brian. It had green frosting and she got her hand into it. She enjoyed eating the frosting, but when she was done with the frosting it was all over her face and it was a kind of frosting that dyes you skin for a while. I didn't get a good picture of it, but it was great.

Day at the Park

We love having Ben's day off on Monday's. It's a quiet day and not many people are out. That is the day we like to go out and have fun. One Monday we decided to have a picnic in the park and then play til we got tired. It's a blast to play with Gabbi. Her favorite thing is still the swing. She gets mad when she stops moving and she gets even worse when we try to take her out of the swing. But it's still fun when whether we can get her to leave the swing or not.
