Jack Ingram

As a part of the South Ogden Days, they had a concert their closing night. Their featured artist was Jack Ingram. I have to admit that I didn't know who he was, but once we were at the concert, I recognized some of his songs. We started the night off with dinner at Greg's house and then all headed to the concert. It was outside at a park located somewhere in South Ogden. The weather wasn't too bad and once the concert had started the son had pretty much gone down. After the concert they did fireworks, which is always fun.

South Ogden Days

Angela, Ben's mom, and Greg invited us to go to the South Ogden Days Carnival. Greg had entered a car into the car show. So we went to go see his car and to look around all the booth and play at the carnival. It's the first carnival that Gabbi had been to, that she could participate. She loved riding the ride. At least now I know that once she is big enough for the rides she will love Disney Land and Lagoon for that matter. The only bad part was trying to get her off the rides. Once the ride was over she refused to get off, so we had to entice her with another ride and finally after she had rode all the rides that fit her age we had to bribe her with sweets. How sad is that. Bribery to get your kids to do what you want.

First Tractor Ride

The favorite pass time of all the grand kids is to be able to ride Papa's tractor. It's really just a lawn mower, but to the kids, its the coolest thing to ride. Gabbi was able to ride it for the first time this summer. She at first looked really scared, but once she got used to the noise and Papa let her steer, she had the time of her life.

Snow White Sing-a-long

Gabbi is very into the movie Snow White. So much that she demands to watch it the very second she has awaken in the morning. Some days she watches 2 or 3 times a day. It is the only cartoon movie that she will watch from beginning to end without interruption. She loves it so much and has watched it so many times that she has some of the songs memorized. Her favorite thing to do, it to sing along with the movie.
