Kamree's Birthday

Kamree turned 2, February 26th. I can't believe that she is two already. She is growing so fast. She's talking a lot and has the cutest personality. I sadly was not able to go to the birthday party, I had an event that I had already committed myself too. But Ben and the kids went. Ben told me that the kids had a blast. They played pin the tail on the donkey. That's the first time Gabbi has ever played that game before. She of course had fun trying to open all of Kamree's gifts. They all enjoyed the cake the best. Ben said that Gabbi and JD had placed their tails on the exact same spot. So Gabbi is either 11 or 2. He couldn't remember which.

Logan Fun Center

To celebrate Ben coming home we decided to head up to Logan and go to their fun center. We had been there once before for a family reunion and remembered about their giant soft play area. We thought that Gabbi would really enjoy that for a couple of hours. It was very busy the entire time we were there. I guess Saturday is the day for parties at that place. But even though it was really busy Gabbi had a blast. We had lunch there and just relaxed and enjoyed being together as a family having fun. Even Owen had fun. He is an observer and with how much was going on there, he had a lot to observe.

Valentines Day

Yet again, another uneventful Valentines Day. This is the third year in a row that Ben was out of town on Reserve business. I guess that's why we never do anything for Valentines day and don't really care either. Well we did get Valentines for the kids. Nothing huge or extravagant, but fun for them. Gabbi got a princess memory game, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shoes, and a tin princess box. Owen got two onezie shirts, a teething toy, a pair of shoes, and a tin cars toolbox. The kids at least had fun for Valentines day. We were able to go down have dinner and a movie with my mom and dad. It made Valentines without my Valentine a little bit easier and not as depressing.

4 Month Check-up

I took Owen in for his 4 month check-up on Valentines day. I hate taking the kids to their check-ups by myself. Its hard watching them give the kids shots. It makes me sick to my stomach because I can't help them while there getting their shots. I do like to give them loves to make them feel better afterwards, but to me, I wish that I could do something more for them. Owen had a hard time with these set of shots. He had a fever off and on for almost two days, he was very irritable, and he even refused a bottle. That scared me. I wanted him to eat so he could keep his strength up, but after a struggle and much crying from both him and myself, he still refused it and just slept. I wanted it all to go away and for him to be back to his normal self, but I guess I don't get everything I want. However, his doctor says he's doing great. Growing like he should. Had had no concerns with Owen and just said to keep up the good work. He weighed 13.81 lbs (25 percentile) and 25.75 in in height (77 percentile). Both kids were always low on weight, but high on height. They're are going to be tall like their daddy. Owen is also sleeping through the night now as well. I love it. He has been for about 3 weeks now. It has definitely been a blessing.

Cloie's birthday

Cloie turned 3 in February. Cloie is Gabbi's cousin, on Ben's side. She had a princess party that the girls just loved. It was Cloie, Gabbi, and Ellie. They each got cute little grab bags with everything princess in them. Gabbi had a blast with that. She loves the jewelry and the dress up stuff when it comes to being a princess. The girls had a blast playing and just being kids. They even did a pinata. The girls tried their hardest to break it, but I think it was Megan in the end that broke it for the girls. It was a lot of fun. Make me want to do a princess party for Gabbi.
