I walked in the kids room to get Owen from a nap. This is how I found him. It was so cute I had to get a picture.
Isn't he cute. Its funny the different position kids can sleep in.

Rodeo

You would think that we were cowboys concidering how many Rodeo we go to. We love the Rodeo and when the army sponsers it, its free for us to get tickets. That makes it even better. Its hard to find a family activity that's free. It perfect that our kids love it too. I think the best part for them is the movement of the animals. It mesmorizes them. To see Owen's face in pure amazement when the bull would buck around that stadium. It was perfect. We all had a blast. My favorite advent is the barrell racing. When I was a kid I had dreamed about being a barrell racer and having my own horse. One day, maybe. Who knows. Ben's favorite advent is of course the Bull riding. Some of the riders got hit pretty good. Hit bad enough that they just laid there for a while, while they caught their breath. It was kind of scary. We went twice this time. Both Friday and Saturday. Each day had its good and bads. We had really good seats both times, it was just fun.

Sunbeams

With the new year, Gabbi graduated in Primary. She is now a Sunbeam. There are only 2 kids in her class, her and another boy. It crazy to think that her class will never grow, but she seems to be okay. The first day, we walked in and I showed her where he class sat. I was a little worried due to the fact that I am a Primary teacher and I was afraid that she would have a hard time staying with her class when I am there on the other side of the room. The first few minutes went fine, but when her teacher still hadn't shown up, she started to cry. She looked at me and I gestured a smile and a turn around sign. That didn't make her feel any better. But her teacher came and then she was okay. That Sunday she was given an assignment to give a talk in two weeks. She was very excited to give us her reminder slip. So for Family Home Evening we wrote her talk and worked with her on it Saturday and Sunday morning. Ben came in to help her. At first when he would whisper to her, she would only whisper. So Ben had to speak up and she finally got the hang of it. she loved the mic. She thought that was pretty cool. She did a great job on her first talk.
