The next day at Ben's drill brought his promotion ceremony. It was supposed to be done the previous month, that didn't happen. No surprise. We got there a little bit before the final formation. When we got in there I felt like a fly on the wall. But that's fine. I was able to pin on Ben's promotion pin last time, so I thought it would be fun to let Gabbi pin him.
(so to speak, that's not what its really called) She walked over to him so proud and with a giant smile on her face, pinned him. Very sweet. He also received an award that day to for his outstanding work the day before. I'm so proud of him. Love you honey.
