Hello Dolly

After leaving the fair we headed to Jeff and Tiffany's house. They were watching the kids for us so we could go and see a play with Ben's dad and step mom. While we were dropping off the kids we also had to pick up dad's truck. Ben's bike was still up at Nelson's from wheat and beat days when it broke down. As soon as we got up to Garland, we headed straight for the play house. Its a cute little community theater called the Barn. Its been around for many years up there and Nelson and Deann go and see a lot of the shows. I was so excited when she told me they were doing Hello Dolly. Its my favorite movie and I couldn't wait to see it. When we got to the play house, we had to wait in line. The seats are first come first serve. It wasn't bad at all thought. Every seat is pretty much a good one. The only bad part was that it started to rain while we were waiting in line. Once they opened the doors we all rushed in to get out of the rain. We got in and found some great seats and then waited for the show to begin. I just couldn't wait anymore. I wanted it to start. Then finally it did. It was such a good musical and nicely out together. The lady who played Dolly did an amazing job. She total played the part well. I would have see it a hundred more times and never got tired of it. It was that good. But I guess you have to like that kids of stuff though. When the play was over as we were walking out, the actors line the hallway and say thanks for coming. I normally don't like to say anything and I hurriedly walk out the door. This time, I couldn't. I had to stop and congratulate "Dolly" on her performance. She did such an amazing job. If I ever did anything like that, I only hope that I could pull it off as well as she did. Truly amazing. We then went to go get Ben's bike and then headed for home.
