This little game of listening for the special words of Jesus Christ or any name representing Jesus Christ has meshed into our scripture reading. It has made scripture reading a lot easier I must say.
They do not however get a cracker/treat every time they hear it during scripture reading, but the fact that they are listening and quiet while we read is very nice. It takes a lot of the head ache out of trying to read the scriptures with the kids.
There are still days were we only get through one chapter and it takes a while to read that chapter, but the days that they are quiet and attentively listening make it all worth it.
