Halloween

Halloween night we tried to make it a little more fun. We got a jack o'lantern pizza from Papa Murphey's. The kids were so excited about their pumpkin shaped pizza.
After dinner, we meet up with some friends at her mom's house and went trick or treating with them. This was the first year the kids have gone trick or treating. The have gone trunk or treating once, but this was a whole new ball game. They were so excited.
The kids had so much fun trick or treating and it only took a few house for Owen to get the hang of knocking on the door and then saying "trick or treat."

It was also hilarious to see the kids connect with a light on at the porch means you can knock on the door. Owen would run around, see the light, and then yell "there;s a light, lets get a treat." It made me laugh. It made for a great night of trick or treating.

After we were done trick or treating we stopped by Great Grandma and Grandpa Hall's house.

We had a great Halloween with both family and friends.

Halloween Parade

Gabbi had a Halloween Parade at school on Halloween. Each student dresses up in their Halloween costumes and they walk around the school to show them all off.

Gabbi's teacher, was a Ninja
Gabbi intermingled with her classmates as Violet
I couldn't help it, I had to get a picture of Gabbi's Kindergarten teacher. She made her own costume and it looked great.
After the parade was walked down to Gabbi's class and snapped a few more pictures with her class and her teacher.
It was such a fun morning.

Gifts

While we were at the Halloween party Nelson and Deann had brought birthday gifts for the boys. They were both very excited.

Owen got a mechanical dinasour
and William got a popper toy.
The boys loved as well as all the cousins. They each took turn playing with the boys new toys.

Halloween Party # 3

The Sagez get together was at the Harrisville cabin this year. Karen and Brian put it all together.

Before we got the party started, we went outside and took some family pictures. It was the first time in a long time that we had Grandpa Sagez there. It was really good to see him. After the pictures we all headed back inside to get things started.

We had yummy sloppy joes with lots of yummy sides. Once we were done eating, the kids ran around playing tag. It was cute to watch them play. It went from tag to hide and go seek. Once the kids were done, we rounded them up and it was time to decorate and carve pumpkins.

We didn't let the kids do pumpkins because they had done everything you could think of to their pumpkins before. However, they were happy to help their cousins with theirs. Gabbi and Ellie had a lot of fun painting Ellie's pumpkin.
When everyone was done with their pumpkins we did the doughnut on a string game. That was so funny to watch. To see them, the kids, to try and eat their doughnuts with their hands held behind their backs, was absolutely hilarious. They had a blast trying though.
Owen and Cami gave up and started holding the string to make it easier. It was so cute. William also wanted in on the fun, but just got a few bites instead.
Even some of the adults got in on the fun.
When all the games were done, some Halloween music was turned on. One of which was the thriller music video. Ellie and Cami were ready to show them how the dance was done. They were so cute showing everyone the different dance moves. They had a blast dancing and playing the music video over and over.
We all had such a great time. When all was said and done, it was time to head home.

Coloring Contest

While we were at Denny's they had a coloring contest in the works for a gift card. The kids were so excited and had a lot of fun coloring, especially Gabbi. She loves to color. Even William got into, despite not really knowing what coloring is.
We helped William out, just a little, but all the kids's pictures turned out great.

Trying to walk

I can't believe it, he's growing up so fast. He has been trying his best to move around couches, tables, etc.
It may not look so good in the video and he gets mad after a bit, but he's slowly getting it.

Some days he will go for it and try, others he just refuses. He'll get it and before we know it, he'll be running around in no time.

William's Birthday Dinner

Better late then never, but we finally got out to take William for his birthday dinner. We had a family party on his birthday, so we delayed it a couple of days.

One of his favorite foods are pancakes. He loves them, so we decided to take him to Denny's for his dinner. We got him huge face sized pancakes and he just ate them up. We had a great time and the best part all three kids were great. I always worry when we take the kids some place to eat, worried that they'll behave, but this was a great night.

Selfies

At times I give William my phone to occupy himself when I'm doing stuff around the house. Whenever he gets my phone, I like to put the camera on for him and he loves to look at himself. Its almost like a mirror. He's such a cutie. Love that kid.

Family Birthday dinner for William

In the midst of all the Halloween fun, we also celebrated William's birthday.

It was funny, after each present he wouldn't want to go to the next one. He wanted to be able to play with the box and what ever was inside.

We gave him a tower that balls roll down with a box of extra balls.
Jeff and Tiffany gave him a Vtek Ipad tablet. It's so cute and he loved all the sounds and lights.
Jenny and Brian gave him sensory balls. There are 5 balls, all different shapes, that have bumps all over them. They make a great back massager. William just liked that they were balls. Owen is the car kid, William is the ball kid.
Mom and Dad gave him the bouncing Dinosaur. You throw balls into the center of the dinosaur and they bounce and bounce until they roll out. He loved it when he played with it at Brian and Karen's and so far has loved it now.
He had so much fun with all his new toys while the rest of us played in our Mario party competition.

Halloween Party 2

The second party we went to was the Annual Hall Halloween Party.

It was our turn for family dinner, but I switched Jenny because she loves Halloween. She was happy to change days with me and I was grateful for that because I don't think I could ever top her Halloween parties.

The theme for the party was Nintendo characters. Our's may not have really meshed with that, well Ben's did. Mr. Incredible is in the game Disney Infinity, so the rest of us just called it good.
Jeff and Tiffany and their kids were Pac Man, Mrs. Pac Man, and the kids were the ghosts.
We're the only ones that didn't do a funny picture but here's Jeff and Tiffany's. If you look closely you can see the bite mark that Pac Man gave Mrs. Pac Man.
Mom and Dad were Doctor Mario and Dad was the pill from Doctor Mario.
Doctor Mario is strangling her pill with her arm band blood pressure cuff.
Jenny, Brian, and the boys were characters from Mario Party and Miranda was Zelda.
You can't see the expression on Brian's face, but I'm sure by his leg reaction he's not in a good "comfortable" place, Ha Ha Ha. So nice of Zelda to kill Luigi.
After our pictures and dinner we started a Mario Cart competition. We first started with the kids heats. All of the kids took turns and we narrowed them down to the top 2. If I remember correctly Miranda and Kayla were the top 2.
When it came time for the adults, we played a few more races to determine who was the top 2. It ended up being Brian and Kayden. The games were a lot of fun. It's been a long time since I've played a Nintendo game.
In between all the different heats, those that wanted to could carve or decorate their pumpkins. Gabbi decided to color on her pumpkin and both of them had sticker faces that they put on the other sides.
Gabbi's cat sticker face.
Owen's spider sticker face.
Jeff's carved "Jack" jack-o-lantern, it was awesome. Apparently Jeff and I think a like.
It was so much fun and Jenny did a great job planning and hosting it again. She even did a great job on the decorations. She truly went all out.
