William and his class, and his grade, have been working hard on their end-of-year program. The topic the 4th graders were learning about was our great state, Utah. They learned about its history and the people who have paved the way and made Utah what it is today. Each of the kids had a line to memorize and they even learned some songs to go with it.
William was so excited about the show. When we got to the school, he told me the best place to sit so I had a good view of him. He was all smiles when we took his place on the risers. When the show got started all of the kids stood up tall and happily performed what they had been working on. The songs were cute, and all of the kids did a great job with their lines. It was quite the production, and I can only imagine the weight that was lifted off the teachers' shoulders when it was finally over.
