Best things about this cover:

  • That seems a reasonable way to learn about sex tbh
  • "OK, so, step 1: put the spear away"—Earth-man
  • I'm sure that phallic rocket is in no way a phallic symbol
  • That is some very convenient cape and forearm
  • Her hair is amazing

Dell600bc
Best things about this back cover:

  • "You ... complete ... me ... seriously, do it, complete me, I'm not a woman yet, get on with it."
  • You take the good you take the bad you take them both and there you have the Facts of Full Womanhood, The Facts of Full Womanhood!
  • That is the sloppiest damn ringed planet I even did see. It's like a 5-year-old drew a ball of yarn

"It is a curious feature of Terran culture that when the men do something of a stupidity they always blame their wives."

I like her.

Best things about this cover:
  • The Minister of Eyebrows is not pleased.
  • Rocket-shooting epaulets! Sign me up.
  • I saw this sitting on top of the pull boxes at my comic book store and asked the owner if I could look at it. She said, "You like it? Take it." So there's one more benefit to buying local.

AceD110.2

Best things about this other cover:
  • Are we not men? We are Smear-Face.
  • This looks like a very polished sci-fi artist's sketchpad. Buncha vaguely space-y stuff, no real concept.
  • The capitalization scheme here is irking me. Titles capitalized, great. Uncapitalized, ok. First two words only … that just adds to the half-baked feel of this entire cover.

Through the shrieking din and confusion, Wienis' bull voice sounded, "Get the flares! Get the flares!"

Best things about this cover:
  • "Yo ... little help?"
  • I'd like to humbly request a reverse-angle version of this painting, thank you.
  • "This book will ram your brain like a runaway shopping cart"—Ray Bradbury

PB77928bc

Best things about this back cover:
  • "Where's the 'z' key on this thing? ... oh, well, I'll just use '2' ... looks fine."
  • Rod Serling liked to SCREAM his blurbs.
  • There are a suspicious number of ellipses in these blurbs ...

Fred Baxter stared at the cat, who stared back at him from the damp yard, its head raised, the yellow of the night moon now brimming in the creature's eyes. The cat's mouth opened.
"It's sucking up the moonlight," Fred whispered.

Fred's wife nodded slowly and turned toward the bed, despair filling her heart as she realized Fred would fail his veterinary board exam yet again.
