We are in the UK!!! Yipee!!!

Here we are  with our 2nd Residence in Jolly ole England! 20 Friary Road Abbeymead, Gloucester UK GL4 5DF

We have enjoyed being in the "North" in Blackrod, Bolton UK and so near to Scott's Nan ,cousins and 

Auntie Wendy and Uncle John.  And our nice ward in Wigan and new friends- but we feel very excited about our new home in Gloucester!

We have been able to visit Scott's childhood homes where he has not been for 30 years! That was a dream come true for him as he has always wanted to take the kids and I to the football fields of his youth!  He was darling it was better than Christmas for him and  the kids loved hearing all the stories of where he cracked his head open and who were his best mates and how his Mum punched a teacher...

We have been here now 6 months and are stating to get situated so I am determined to start blogging more so that I don't have to put everything on Face Book.

Chelsea and Mitchel and my Mom were all able to be a part of this grand theatrical and entertaining celebration of the 2 new temples in the area. I knew that it would be neat, but, I had no idea it was going to be so awesome! The scenery and the music were spectacular, all the kids did an outstanding job- it was very impressive! I was so proud of Mitchel and Chelsea, they both did so well they smiled and danced great! My neighbor and friend Chris worked so hard for our bit with our stake and she did a marvelous job! The kids had a such a great time and met some fun friends. Nathan was my date and we sat at the top of the balcony so that we could see it all- at the end the temple rises out of the Mountain-WOW! My favorite was the Chinese dances with the drums- so well done! I didn't get very good video, being up so high, but it will give you an idea of how fun it was! Our group were the farmers-the Prophet was there and I started to cry when he walked in and the entire congregation sang, "We thank thee oh God for a Prophet." He was so humble and gracious, he is a very dear man, and he looked so handsome! I am so grateful for the leaders and all the service that they give. I am sure Chelsea and Mitchel will remember it always. It has been so special this year moving into this new temple area, and having some very wonderful experiences that will last a lifetime.
