Fall, are you here to stay?

Pants & socks. Nathan & Alexa don't quite know what to do with them. They keep tugging at them like, "What the heck is this, Mom?" It would appear that fall is upon us. It was, however, 91 degrees yesterday so I'm not buyin' it. I'm predicting rompers & sun dresses by the end of the week. I'll give ya a little update on the chilins since I haven't done much of that lately. Neither of them are walking yet. Alexa is very interested & loves to show off her free-standing skills. But then she gets freaked out & sits down. Nathan is not even interested in the slightest. They get around fine on all fours. They're still taking 2 naps a day & sleeping well at night. They're adjusting to table food & sippy cups-- we're down to 1 bottle a day & should be off them by next week. They constantly fight over toys & Nathan is finally taking a stand to Alexa when she steals his stuff. They're good buds t...

Jibber Jabber

I wish I had this on video but I had to write it down. Nathan & Alexa have been jabbering a lot lately, sometimes to each other. It is, of course, mostly baby talk & nothing anyone could understand. This morning after they had their bottles (yes, they still take a bottle), they were sitting on the floor in the living room while I made breakfast. I told them to go say hi to Daddy, who was getting ready in our bedroom. Alexa started crawling towards the bedroom & Nathan followed her, then he stopped. She stopped and turned and looked at him. Then Nathan jabbered something to Alexa that sounded like a question. She said plainly back to him, "Daddy." To which he responded. "Oh." Then they both continued crawling to to find Daddy. It was so funny to witness this little conversation. In my mind, I think Nathan said, "Where are we going, Sissy?" And Alexa responded, "To find Daddy." Then he said, "Oh, ok..." Off they w...

This is one I took of Nathan a few weeks ago. He's showin off all of his tricks! The kid loves to play peek-a-boo! I took this of Alexa today. She loves to walk but can't do it on her own. Luckily she got this toy for her birthday! Thanks Ashcraft Family!
