The Oldroyd Family

Here are some random picture from this month: We got in pool time when we could, and Max is learning to swim without floaties! Go Max!  Lincoln is so snuggly & cute! He sleeps in his chair because of reflux. It's nice to have him right by me! Some of my favorite times are hanging out with him in bed. He doesn't get mad very often, but when he does, it's kind of cute! We mostly see these cute smiles with his tongue sticking out. He's getting more aware and loves to bat the toys hanging from his Einstein Mat! My peaceful little sleeper. He sleeps in the Woombie, like Max did. But he's my first baby that doesn't NEED to be swaddled to sleep well. I just die over his cute cheeks and lips. I love this little man! Alexa continues to be the best big sister in the world! Here are the kids on the last day of Summer Camp. What a great experience! We're excited to go back next year.

We had so much fun with Tiffany, Avery & Aric this month! My kids still had the last week of summer camp, and they let Avery and Aric come with them. They had a blast & it gave Tiff & I some time to ourselves (and Lincoln!). I don't know what I would do without my best friend. I hate that we don't see each other enough but love when we can travel to see each other! Here we are getting a mani/pedi. We also have a tradition to go on a date to the Cheesecake Factory when Tiff is in town. Thanks, Sam, for watching all of the kids! It is so fun to see the kids play and love each other like cousins. We got the boys superhero jackets from Costco, complete with masks. They thought they were pretty awesome! Love these boys! And these girls just make my heart happy. We had the best time when Grandpa Great, Grammy & Aunt Vicki came this month! It was the first time Aunt Vicki has been to our house. The kids (and I!) just love having her around - she's so much fun!

Zack, Hilary & Hunter came and visited for a week!  We were having too much fun playing Wii and swimming to take too many pictures.  Here is the first time Hunter held Lincoln.  Melt my heart! Our 4th of July Fireworks plan got rained out so we  stayed up to watch the fireworks on TV in downtown Houston (biggest show in the nation!) The kids didn't quite make it... When the fireworks finally came on, Nathan made it about 2 minutes.  A little after he fell asleep, the song, "Happy" came on, which he loves.  I tried to wake him up and tell him his favorite song was on!  He opened one eye, gave me a thumbs up & a half smile, and went back to sleep! Haha! Grandma & Grandpa flew in for the weekend because we blessed Lincoln at church on Sunday.  It was a beautiful day & a beautiful blessing!  As always, I was so thrilled to put Lincoln in such a special outfit.  It has now been worn by Uncle Nathan, Uncle Zack, Ta...

I can't believe Lincoln is already 1 month old.  He's such a good baby! I love snuggling with him & seeing all of his funny expressions.  Here are some pictures I've taken of him over the last week and a half!
