The Oldroyd Family

This month's preschool field trip was to the Museum of Natural Science in Sugar Land. Max was SO excited to go and look at dinosaur bones. The only thing that would have made it better for him would be if Grandpa John could have come! What a fun place! We watched a movie about space, saw frogs and dinosaur bones. There was even this fun dino bone dig! Max's teacher sets up the best field trips. He's one lucky boy!

Last week my Uncle Mike came through Houston for a few days and we got to see him. He also brought Sandy with him since Grandpa and Grandma are out of town. It was so fun keeping her for a few days! The kids loved her and I was sad to see her go. We got lucky and while Uncle Mike was here, we had tickets to the Rocket's vs. Jazz game! So he came along. We had a great time, even though the Jazz got killed. Go Jazz!

Today was a big day - Lincoln sat up in the grocery cart for the first time. Just look at that face! He's so proud of himself! This kid has my heart!

Just like that... Lil' Lincoln is a sitter! It's like he knew he was turning 8 months the next day and just decided to sit up. I had never gotten him to sit up for longer than about 2 seconds. But today, I sat him down, and he was up for at least 10 minutes playing! Silly kid - he's pretty pleased with himself!
