Valentine's Ball

Because of test week we didn't get to celebrate Valentine's on the 14th, so we postponed it one week later when we went to the IUPUI Valentine's Ball. It was semi-formal with dinner and dancing included at the Children's Museum downtown Indy. I felt like I was in High School again, getting excited to get all dolled up for a dance. I think I was mostly excited because we were going out without the kids.

There's a huge pillar of glass-blown objects in the center of the staircase, pretty cool.
Dinner and dancing was so nice. Here's some friends at the dance: Candace, Christy, Jennalee, Kimberly and me.

I had Scotty wear a pink tie, so we'd match like you did at Prom...
I guess I hinted to Scott that I had all these empty vases lying around the house, never with any flowers in them... so he got me a beautiful one with a love letter attached. The love note I had been asking for over two years and I finally got one! It was sweet.

I made Scotty these chocolate truffles dipped in white chocolate, nuts and peanut butter milk chocolate. He was in heaven!

Valentine's Party

Our friends Jenna and Matt threw a Valentine's Party for the first year dental students. We get togther every once in a while and we're becoming pretty good friends! Jenna did an amazing job at decorating and making the treats for the night! We played the newlywed questionaire game and lost big time. I guess nearly 5 years of marriage doesn't amount to much. Thanks Jenna and Matt for a fun night!

2 Teeth at 4 1/2 Months!

Cole's first bottom tooth came in early last week right after his 4 mo. shots, and then his second bottom one came in 5 days later... poor kid, he's been through a lot!

Aaron's Wedding in Arizona

Scott and I were sick of the snowy weather and needed to go where it was warm. Good thing Aaron Moore's wedding was in Mesa, AZ! 75 degrees the whole weekend!

Since it was such a short trip, we didn't do whole lot besides wedding activities, but we did take a dip in Steve's hot tub... Cole loved it!

Snow Storms & Ice Storms

Besides living too far from family, this is why we are NOT living in Indiana.
We were literally snowed in, there's about a foot up on our porch step. If we opened our sliding glass door the snow would come crashing in! You can see it was more than a foot high on the bbq.

Our neighborhood... see any roads? Nope, they're all burried.

My HERO: Scott

Ella loves wearing this hat from Grandma Robbie...

And Cole is really starting to love this "kick-n-crawl" thing where he can play with the hanging toys, kick the ball with his feet, and make the songs play.
