Piab Group’s European Supply Unit has officially moved into a new, modern facility in Butzbach, Germany. What makes this move truly special is the teamwork behind it. ESU and GmbH employees, together with family and friends, prepared the new site, moved equipment and rebuilt the warehouse almost entirely on their own. Their dedication made it possible for us to become fully operational again as of Tuesday. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, this was a true team effort! With more than 4000 square meters of energy efficient space and the introduction of our AutoStore system, we are now even better equipped to provide faster deliveries, improved availability and an overall enhanced customer experience. This marks an important step in strengthening how we support our customers across all regions, and we are excited to support you even better from our new home.

In 1968, a single invention marked the beginning of Piab Group’s journey in vacuum technology. That invention came from Peter Tell, part of the founding family. Peter invented Piab Group’s first vacuum product, the PmS-Pistol, also known as the Pneucette. It laid the foundation for our vacuum business and the broad product portfolio that followed, shaping Piab Group’s role in industrial automation. For Peter, innovation has always been about turning ideas into practical, reliable solutions that solve real industrial challenges. Curiosity, hands-on exploration, and continuous improvement have always been at the core. Still today, Peter frequently visits Piab Group headquarters. Pictured here with our CEO, Peter Laurin, in the R&D lab at our headquarters in Danderyd, he remains engaged and curious, inspiring discussions that reinforce the values shaping Piab Group today. #Innovation #IndustrialAutomation #Engineering #PiabGroup
