  • We were just awarded the SACC-USA (Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce) Business Award—for fast-growing Swedish companies driving innovation and growth in the US market and our CEO David von Laskowski, Patrik Hellstrand, CEO Picadeli US and Mats Lederhausen, Co-Founder Picadeli US, was there to receive it. They called us "a true leader in healthy fast food.” We'll take it. 🌿 And as the jury put it: "Picadeli stands out not only for its impressive pace of expansion in the US, but also for its pioneering role in 'saladifying’ the American food landscape. By combining advanced AI technology with a strong commitment to affordable meal solutions, the company has successfully navigated the challenges that have defined the business environment of 2025—including labor shortages, rising operational costs, and economic uncertainty—through a truly scalable model with minimal waste.   • Say hej to Jonas Landström! CTO. Salad and tech lover. Jonas came to Picadeli 10 years ago with a Silicon Valley mindset stating that “Software will be the most important factor that determines competitiveness in every sector”. And we’re all in on that! Today our business runs on custom made software, from the worlds first connected Salad bar that keeps track of everything the user needs with AI assisted ordering and computer vision–based fill-level detection, to internally developed tools that make it possible to scale to thousands of stores with a small team. Building an in-house team and proprietary data enables Picadeli to use AI to optimize the business for our customers and ourselves in a way that traditional players cannot. You may just as well meet Jonas in a store discussing details about store operations with a salad bartender (we don’t know how many times he has said that the truth is not found in the office, but it sure is a lot), as you can find him discussing technical details with the engineers. Knowing what to build to create as much value as possible for the customers and business has never been more important so that is where you’ll find Jonas spending most of his time. P.S. We kicked things off with press and media, where David Bicheron, CEO Picadeli France, shared our mission to democratize healthy food and our CTO Jonas Landström took the stage to unveil new features—giving a first glimpse into what’s ahead.
