What, When and Why of the Micro Full Blue Moon

We have a Micro Full Blue Moon coming up on the 31st of May at 4.38pm AEST (4.45am EDT, 3.45am CDT, 1.45am PDT and 9.45am BST).

A Micromoon is a New or a Full moon which coincides with the apogee – the point in the moon’s orbit farthest away from the earth. This means the moon appears smaller than usual from the perspective from earth

A Blue moon can be a full moon which happens to be the second full moon in a calendar month. This is a rare occurrence and thus known as a blue moon as it has nothing to do with the colour of the moon.

This Micro Full Blue Moon will be the smallest and faintest full moon of the year and the best time to view it will be just after sunset.

Magick of the Micro Full Blue Moon

This Micro Full Blue Moon falls in the astrological sign of Sagittarius therefore the energies heightened during this time is the Sagittarius star sign.

What, When and Why of the Super Full Blue Moon

We have a Super Full Blue Moon coming up on the 20th of August 2024 at 4.25am EST or August 19th 2024 at 2.26pm ET.

A Supermoon is a New or a Full moon which coincides with the closest distance to the earth in its orbit.  This means the moon appears larger than usual from the perspective from earth.

A Blue moon can be a full moon which happens to be the second full moon in a calendar month or it can be a seasonal blue moon which is the third full moon in an astrological season with four full moons. This blue moon happens to be the latter which is a seasonal blue moon.

This is a rare occurrence and thus known as a blue moon as it has nothing to do with the colour of the moon.

This Super Full Blue Moon will be the brightest and biggest moon of the year and the best time to view it will be at sunset.

This Super Full Blue Moon falls in the astrological sign of Aquarius therefore the energies heightened during this time is the Aquarius star sign.

Aquarius is a Air sign which is ruled by Uranus. Aquarius is intellectual, social, curious and innovative. This is a fixed sign which thrives on mental stimulation and organisation. It is a sign connected to the energies of eccentricity, uniqueness and radical expression.
