Even the stars need a break 🐶💤 Our very cute Purina Friskies four-legged talent taking a well-earned nap between takes during a recent shoot in Thailand. Not a bad way to spend the workday. #Purina #Friskies #BehindTheScenes #PetHumanBond #Thailand

The Purina team came together this week to mark Earth Day with a morning tea, shared in person in Singapore and virtually across the region. It was a moment to pause, reflect and reconnect with the role we all play in reducing our environmental impact at work and beyond. From small touches on the day, including seedlings to take home, to the broader work happening across our business, it is a reminder that progress is built through everyday actions. At Purina, caring for pets goes beyond the food in their bowl. It also means caring for the world they live in. #EarthDay #Sustainability #Purina #BetterWithPets

Creating richer lives for pets and the people who love them means showing up where it matters most. Across the Middle East, we are supporting Trap Neuter Return programmes in partnership with local partners German Standard Group and Al Mayya K9 to help manage stray populations and support healthier communities. Trap Neuter Return is a proven approach where stray animals are safely captured, neutered and vaccinated, then returned to their environment. By preventing new litters, it helps stabilise populations and improve animal wellbeing. Over the event, more than 50 cats received treatment and a chance at a healthier life. Proud to see this brought to life through the expertise of our Veterinary Advisor, Dr Bedor Omran, working alongside partners on the ground. A powerful example of partnership in action to make a real difference. #PurinaCares #BetterWithPets #AnimalWelfare #PetWelfare #CommunityImpact

A simple reminder of the special bond between pets and people. It’s these moments that inspire everything we do at Purina. We’d love to see the pets who are part of your world too, share yours below 👇 #NationalPetDay #PurinaAOA #PetsAtWork #PetHumanBond #CreatingRicherLives

Pets live healthier, happier lives when the foundations of responsible pet ownership are in place. At Purina, we support initiatives that help pets receive the care they need and stay with the people who love them. In Thailand, we are supporting a government led microchipping and pet registration programme in partnership with the Office of Veterinary Public Health, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Through this initiative, Purina has donated over 50,000 food products to support pets participating in the programme, with Dr. Sistapol Iamvisut, Director of the Office of Veterinary Public Health, receiving the donation on behalf of the organisation. By helping ensure pets are identified, cared for and able to remain with their families, we support responsible pet ownership while contributing to stronger communities and public health systems. It is how we bring our purpose to life every day, creating richer lives for pets and the people who love them. #Purina #ResponsiblePetOwnership #PetsAndPeople #CommunityImpact

🐾 What if your pet’s health is shaped by something you can’t see? Inside your pet is a complex community of microbes in the gut. Emerging research shows the gut microbiome does more than support digestion. It plays a role in behaviour, skin health and even kidney function. This means supporting the gut microbiome can have a wider impact on overall health and wellbeing. 🔬 It’s all connected: • Gut brain axis shaping behaviour and stress • Gut skin axis influencing skin health • Gut kidney axis linked to long term kidney health Through the Purina Institute, we are sharing the latest science to help veterinary professionals and pet owners better understand the role of the gut microbiome and what it means for everyday pet care. 👉 Explore the latest Digest and discover the science here: https://lnkd.in/e_NtSzpr #PurinaInstitute #MicrobiomeScience #InnovationInNutrition #WeArePurina

Our thoughts are with our teams across the Middle East at this time. We’re pleased to share that all of our people are safe and accounted for, with precautionary measures in place to prioritise their safety and wellbeing. We are grateful for the dedication our teams across the region continue to show every day as they support pets and the people who love them. Our local teams are also exploring ways to provide practical support to pet shelters and animal welfare partners, and we hope to share more in due course. We also recognise that periods of loud noise and environmental stress can affect pets. To support pet owners, Dr Bedor Omran, Purina veterinary adviser based in the UAE, has shared practical guidance on how to help pets remain calm and safe. We are sharing a few of these tips in the hope they may be helpful to pet owners during this time. #Purina #PetsAndPeople
